[PRP] A Lie Becomes Truth (Nyota, Tamu & Maua)[FIN]

Tamu might have argued the point of help a bit more - if she hadn't agreed to at least talk to his mother, surely after she'd met Fara she'd realize that things weren't quite the same with her as they would be with Maua. That was enough to keep him from insisting anything else and he could understand why she wanted to do things for herself for once. sure he'd lived doing that his whole life but Nyota probably thought she had something to prove still.

He'd let her keep those thoughts for now he figured she'd change her mind once she got closer to her due date. Turning his attention back to the den he nodded "Yes..I don't think that a turned over tree is the proper den for our new family" He agreed with a chuckle.

"It will do for now." She told him, as she was in no particular rush to find a new den. They would do so soon enough, before she was fat and laid up with cubs. For now though, it was the most perfect home she could ask for. Nuzzling Tamu affectionately Nyota let a loud purr rumble in her throat. This was it, what she had been wanting her whole life. Freedom, freedom to do what she wanted when she wanted, no more worrying about her parents coming after her. Though granted this freedom wouldn't exactly last forever, once the cubs arrived she would need to settle down and take care of them. With Tamu to help she was sure they could do so easily.

"Come on, let's go for a hunt. I'm starving!" She hadn't eaten yet today as she had been far too worried about talking with her mother and Tamu, now however her stomach was protesting at the lack of food.

"Well we certainty can't let you starve now" He teased her - an expecting mother had to eat he knew and eat well if they wanted healthy cubs. "I saw some antelope over by the watering hole earlier" He suggested and since Nyota rarely complained about eating antelope he turned and led her off in that direction. With two of them hunting they could afford to try for some larger game at least then what he was normally capable of finding on his own. Once they had eaten...he figured a nice nap would be in order.
