Tamu might have argued the point of help a bit more - if she hadn't agreed to at least talk to his mother, surely after she'd met Fara she'd realize that things weren't quite the same with her as they would be with Maua. That was enough to keep him from insisting anything else and he could understand why she wanted to do things for herself for once. sure he'd lived doing that his whole life but Nyota probably thought she had something to prove still.
He'd let her keep those thoughts for now he figured she'd change her mind once she got closer to her due date. Turning his attention back to the den he nodded "Yes..I don't think that a turned over tree is the proper den for our new family" He agreed with a chuckle.
