Templar of the Sky
Rules:
- Any soquili wanting a combatant position must be male. The mentality of the Templar is a military one, in their mindset allowing females into combat would be both a distraction and a hindrance.
- Any soquili wanting to join must be of a winged variety.
- “Evil” soquili are not accepted. This means any soquili demonic in nature or appearance would be driven from the territory.
- Homosexual soquili are absolutely not allowed. Again, the mentality is that of an old knight’s order.
- Female soquili are assigned to the rank of caretakers. Female soquili life-mated to one of the knights is elevated to the rank of Lady.
Ranks & Duties:
Knight Commander:
The high commanders are the highest ranked members of the Templar. They are first into battle and last off the field, they command the other knights and dictate the movements of the herd. While they will often take advice from their fellow knights, the Knight Commanders have the final say in anything and everything. To join, a new member must have a completed rp with a knight commander or their second.

Second Commander:
The second commanders are, as the name suggests, second in command. For every Knight Commander there is one second in command, hand-picked by the commander. The second commander will act in place of the knight commander in their absence or at their word.

Knight:
The knights make up the majority of the herd. These are bold, powerful stallions with a burning passion for virtue and justice. They stand to protect the skies against all that they deem as evil or demonic. They follow their commanders without question.

Ladies:
Ladies are females that are life mated to one of the knights. Ladies are doted upon by their males, charged only with the upbringing of the new generations. They lead relatively easy lives under the protective gaze of their mates.

Maidens:
Caretakers are female soquili who do not yet have a life mate among the knights. They are charged with nursing the wounded and the ill and assisting ladies in the upbringing of their young.

Squires:
Squires are the young colts of the herd. They train directly under their fathers until they are old enough to become knights themselves.

Young fillies of the herd. They work with their mothers and learn how to grow to be a proper lady or a caretaker.

Beliefs:
- The Templar believe that their domain is the sky and it’s their duty and privilege to both protect the realm of the skies and purge all evil that may taint it. The templar will not hesitate to attack anything they deem as ‘evil’ or unjust.
- The Templar believe that as the sky is as close to heaven as any mortal can get, they are the most divine of the Soquili. While they feel compassion, perhaps even pity, for the earth-bound soquili, they rarely associate personally with them.
- The Templar believe that they are charged by heaven itself. They believe in a great deity, a god of supreme justice and virtue and in his glory, they fight for the greater good.
- They cannot stand injustice. Soquili or herds that live to cause harm to another they cannot stand.
- They believe that lifemating is a privilege. The union of a male and female is observed as a sacred bond.
