"It's a good motivational tool" She knew that the bite of a hyena was something even the lions feared so why not use it on each other when they were being idiotic. "Get up and be responsible or get bit. Seemed to always work for my family." Which was probably why she wasn't lazy.

Tukutu raised a brow, since it wasn't really something he was expecting. Well, honestly, he didn't expect much out of anything, moreso because he wouldn't do much himself. Hm.
"Well, maybe you just need to get out more," he teased. "Maybe then one of these males can finally realize that you're not bad yourself."

"I get out plenty." She smirked and stuck her nose up slightly. "I'm the one that makes them get up and hunt when they start whining there's no food." At least she did a lot. She figured they some times hunted without her but that wasn't the point.

Tukutu just laughed. "Good luck with that," he finally said, feeling his breathe shorten. Really, since a lot of them just...didn't care. Oh well. Maybe in the future they wouldn't have to worry about them anymore, because things would be moving, and they'd be doing something. Who knew what, though.
"Finishing up your home?" he asked, switching subjects...somewhat smoothly.

"Finishing? Never." She laughed. "I was just adding a few more things. I still need to plug a few holes but i haven't found anything good for that yet."
She'd probably have to find a way to make a mud paste of some sort but it hadn't really rained yet so she wasn't too worried'=

He cocked his head, still wondering why all of that was necessary. Must be a female thing. If it kept him dry when it rained, that was all he cared about.
"Well, maybe we'll go take a look outside the graveyard tomorrow?" He had nothing better to do. Well, except take a nap, but he'd probably catch enough sleep between now and then to not really need one...

She gasped and mocked looking shocked for a moment. "You would walk so far? Without taking a nap between?" Her grin was still plastered on her muzzle showing that she was teasing

He grunted. "If it's tomorrow, I'll catch some sleep between now and then." Even if she was teasing...she knew he'd catch a nap or some sort of sleep regardless!

"Some extra sleep. Never know how far out i'll want to go and you couldn't just leave poor little me out there all alone." She grinned brightly as she nodded. IT would be good to get out a bit

Tuk shook his head. "No, if you lead me that far out, you'd probably leave me there cause I'd be too tired to walk back." He twitched his tail, content. "Sounds like a plan, then? I'll probably just....meet you here again, I guess."

"I'd drag you back." She smirked. Though it would probably be with one of his legs in her mouth and him complaining the whole way but he'd come back.

"Oh, thanks," he said sarcastically, but with a grin. "So I'll see you tomorrow then? Might as well get a head start on my sleep...unless you want to drag me back here once I exhaust myself in those rogue lands." Which he doubted, haha. Also, then she could spend the rest of her time working on her little home project, so maybe she'd have a clearer idea of what she'd want when they'd go wandering into no-hyena's land tomorrow.

She nodded and shooed at him with a paw. "Off to dream land with you then. You'll need plenty of beauty rest to keep up with me." She could keep working on her house. She wanted to make sure that the new furs were in -just- the right place to be comfortable when she slept.

"Yeah, yeah." Beauty sleep, please. He turned around and walked off, figuring that he might as well sleep in his own skull tonight. Leave it vacant for too long, and someone else might decide that they wanted it. And he wasn't going to give it. Not quite yet.
