I am still confused by your meaning, I think you either need to rephrase or explain a little bit more. The only thing I know the terms "hard" and "soft" are use to describe is porn.

to put this in context for people

hard would be people with suits and go to conventions and have accounts on like 5 furry site

soft would be people who keep it online, pictures to represent there charecter is the limit and are willing to go out with non-furs

If that is what he meant, still going to wait for Furryest to actually explain himself. Though using phrases such as "hard" and "soft" in that context for furries is so the wrong terminology. xd We usually say terms "casual" and "lifestylers."

What I really meant Artemis is what kind of story that you have more desire to read are those that are appealing or romantic.
