I'm pretty much up to date in the manga as well as the show. I like pretty much all the characters except the lame side characters from the movies and the fillers(oh and I'm not a big fan of Tenten since I think she sucks). The story of Naruto didn't really catch my eyes since I was first exposed to him in the episode where he took on Neji at the exams and I just thought that he was lame and that it was like a ninja version of Dragonball. After a year or so later I got my hands on the Manga which got me addicted to this great Naruto story. THen after I got to watching the anime and was pretty hooked.
