Wait...Frosts were introduced when?

So I'm kinda confused right now. When playing Devil May Cry 4 I saw the frosts and thought: cool, I've never seen these guys before...

But I was waching my friend play the first DMC and while trying to escape from hell I noticed something that caught my attention. She was fighting Frosts. O.o . I went back and played my game all the way through again and I can promise you not ONE frost pops up. Not on easy, not on normal and not on any difficulty. So when she came over next I took a look at her enemy files. It wasn't just the Frost, there was another Demon called a Fetish that I have never seen in my game.

Do any of you have an idea as to why this might be?

Maybe It Was A Limited Edition?
They Seem To Have More Enemies + Weapons On LE Games
And All I Really Fought On My Way Out Of Satan's a*****e, Were Those Creepy Deformed Mask Things That Sound Like Monkeys....

They are in the game. I've went up against them several times.

They come in depending on where you are and if you go to the right spots.
