He grew up in Scotland and lived there for most of his childhood before coming down with the black plague at the age of 22. His family desperate to keep him alive, went so far as to summon a vampire to turn him just to keep him 'alive'. At first, Aidan hated this change and his opinion wasn't much changed as he had to watch all those he cared about die, but over the years he has learned to both accept and be okay with this change and has recovered his rather sunny disposition that he had during life. He got into the slave market because he wishes to offer his service in exchange for a steady 'meal' because he has grown too lazy to go through the motions of finding a willing participant every few days. Yet while he is offering himself up as a slave, he also wishes to be a bit choosy with who he gives himself to.
