Critique? Help me improve?

I could use some help with facial features. Mainly in the placement area of things.

Yeah. I've really been trying to improve on that lately. On the bright side, at least I can kind of pick out what I'm doing wrong...

And thank you for your compliment on the hair :3

I wanna say that her nose is too low on her face. Her ear is too close to her eye. Bring it back a tad bit. Nice though, your on the right track. ^-^

everything looks nice except for the face.
the face feels flat and the nose/mouth are to low or the eyes to high, that's a matter of personal taste. but still it is not that bad.

and i recommend everyone to not start drawing manga at first. It's better to start with looking at pictuters of real human heads and draw them over this gives you a good feel how the human face is build. Anime/manga is easy to start with and can look great but it doesn't have to do anything with real human anatomy. and human anatomy is what your drawing base should be.

The back of the head is a little flat. If you look at a picture of a head (or at a real person's head) you'll notice that the shape is more round than what you have up there.



You're also falling victim to the rectangle eye as well. Try to make them a bit more rounded.
