Kich was...nervous. Very nervous. It was a feeling he wasn't used to. But when one finds out their mate, the female that had stolen their heart, was expecting, and the cubs would be his...
Well, one had good reason to be nervous. What sort of father would he be? What would the cubs look like? Would any of them take after his mother? Or his unknown father? The white-maned lion sighed and sat down in the sands, shaking his head. He was glad he'd gone away from the others, before letting his mind wander. The last thing he needed was for someone to lecture him on how he was being very 'un-Firekin'.

Azar was in quiet the pleasant mood even though she had one of her most rambunctious cubs with her. She didn't mind, she really didn't. She had such a large litter she wanted to make sure she had time for them as much as possible, not only that but she wanted to make sure that she could give them all the attention they wanted and needed as individuals she wanted to make sure they all had a bunch of attention and she also wanted to make sure that she still did what she liked to do. She liked to spar and liked to fight, it was always something nice and something that she enjoyed.
Today was one of those days that she had a moment to spend time with one of her children one on one. However she wanted to do one thing and this one thing her cub liked to do too. Her son Kakek had been wanting to visit her sister Zii so she wanted to take him. It ad been something that she had been wanting to do herself so she was fine with it. "Come on keep up." She chuckled slightly as the cub trotted along at her ankles. She liked to see the hard work and the effort that her cubs put out even if it was in small ways.
Kakak lifted his head and grinned ear to ear and trotted behind his mother. He occasionally tripped over something here and there it was really little things however they were things like rocks or an occasional left over bone depending on where they were. The not to long trip for his mother was a pretty long trip for his short little legs. But he didn't care he was a strong warrior like his grandfather, he was named after him in a way he could take on anything. He always felt like he could take on everything. This included the male that they were approaching. He had to protect his mother! "Mama! There is a male over there!" He chirped sticking out his chest at the comment.
Azar chuckled and nudged the cub. "It's alright." She nodded before turning toward the other male. "Hello?" He questioned curiously?

Kich's ears went up as he heard voices, ones he wasn't exactly familiar with. He went on guard, trying to make it look as if he hadn't been lost in his thoughts...He was a bit surprised when he noticed the marking on the black lioness that Zii seemed to have as well. Ah! So the lioness must have been the sister Zii spoke of most! Kich got to his paws, and nodded to the female and her cub.
"Hello. Zii's not here at the moment, but I could get her, if you want." He wasn't the sort to leave family hanging.
