STEVE BURNSIDE

Steve nearly drove off the road when he heard Rebecca. Woah! Hold it! We weren't... we haven't even... we... he started to stutter and mumble. His face was bright red. He fell silent and drove even faster, seeing that the gas meter already started to blink. Claire, please stay alive. he thought, hearing the moans of the zombies at a distance.

((Will be out, gonna go to school and fix stuff. ))

"Hey are you trying to kill us all. You're lucky I wasn't sticking a needle into her." I turned back and tried and place pressure on the wound as my white vest was covered with blood.
"Are we there yet?" The blood was still coming out but slowly.

Chris looked ahead of them. "Yeah, i think we should be almost out of here." He said and glanced over at Steve.He sighed. Then looked down at claire.

As Steve stopped in front of the gate, I grabbed Claire and ran towards the guard. They remembered me as they open the gate.
"We need a medic tent quickly." The lady from before appeared and escorted us into the tent and I started getting to work.

STEVE BURNSIDE

Steve parked the jeep somewhere nearby, and ran towards the medic tent with some supplies.Is she going to make it? Steve asked Rebecca, trying not to fear the worst. There was too much blood loss... He immediately came closer, not knowing how long before they shoo him away, and muttered at Claire, Hang in there, stay alive... for me. After that he stepped back, at looked at Rebecca. If there's anything you need, I'll be outside. He turned around and slowly made his way out of the tent.

I quickly grabbed the supplies Steve brought in.
"Thanks Steve." I was moving quickly as I made sure she couldn't feel the pain as I was stiching her up. It took me three hours to stop the bleeding and closed her wound as I wrapped her up making sure the blood don't go through. I stepped outside bloody and all.
"She will be fine she's stable now but its up to her when she wakes up."



I don't remember much as all I remember was me shooting something in the darkness as I found the boxes of medical supplies. I think I heard Chris voice but I don't remember exactly. I started to stir as I finally opened my eyes but slowly. My head started to hurt as I was blinkig.
"Where am I? What happened?" I tried to sit up but my back and side heard as I gasp.

Chris had held claire's hand the whole sergery untill she was done. He was tired and decided to go out for some fresh air. But when Rebecca had come and said that she would be waking up soon, he went back in. His eyes a bit tired with some circles under them from worrying.

He smiled as she woke up. He put his hands out to her. "It's alright Claire. Don't move much. Rebecca just finished stitching you up." He said. He sighed. "You went in alone. You were pushed into a pipe by a rabid, animal. It was infected, and luckily we got there in time to kill it before it got you." He said. "Oh, and your lover, Steve is here. Burnside. I know i can't believe it either." He chuckled a bit at the first part of that.

I shot up in shocked but I hissed as my side started to hurt as if something was digging in my skin.
"What! Don't joke like that Chirs its not funny. And yes I went alone because my big brother was walking around like a crippled." I started gasp as my side was hurting uncontrably.



I heard Claire yell as I walk back in all bloody.
"Now you done it Chris. You should at least wait to tell her that when she was at least a little bit better and able to walk." I shook my head as I walked over to her.
"Hey Claire its Rebecca Chambers. Don't respond now I'll tell you everything later but you need to lay down and let me look." I looked at her bandages and was glad she didn't reopen her wound.
"You're lucky she didn't reopen her wound if she did I would have to kill you Chirs because the next time she opens it could kill her."

Chris sighed. "Sorry sis. And hey, i was shot and stabbed in the leg, and just about the same spot. It hurt. You were the ones who made a big deal about me going." He said. He looked at Rebecca, "Sorry again. I almost lost her i couldn't help it. Making jokes like that is just my way of coping." He said and stood. He stretched his arms.

"Rest up. I'll be outside with Steve if you two need me." Chris said. He started to walk out, he glanced back then kept going out of the tent. He sat on a crate near the entrance of the tent by Steve. "So, where ya been? Claire said you were dead. And that Rebecca, she lost contact with. What's going on with that? You two just magically show up. Not to mention mr. Dog-ears over there. What, supose Leon is showing up also?" He asked.

STEVE BURNSIDE

Steve was staring off into nowhere when heard Chris approaching. He turned to face the man, who looked older and more worn out the last time he saw the guy. He was unsure on how to answer Chris.
I had no idea, either. All I know is I was dead, became some science experiment, then I'm here, alive and kicking. he sighed, unconsciously placing his hands on his scarred chest. Rebecca found me, I don't know how she got there either. And Leon? Last time I checked he was with that traitor four-eyes. His hands balled into fists with that thought, but he relaxed as he turned to ask Chris. How's Claire? Is she alright? His eyes were grave and full of concern.

Chris looked at Steve. "Who's Four-eyes? I wasn't there so i have no clue who you are talking about. What did he do? sell you out or somthing? You seem pretty angry about it." He took a swig of a water bottle and grabed another he tossed it to Steve. "And Claire...Rebecca finished her up and she just needs to rest for now." He said and sighed. He was Glad Claire was going to be ok. He got to a diffrent topic now.

"So anyway. What did the guy with glasses do to you guys? What he with Umbrella or somthing?" He asked.

((Well sense they conversation didn't end i'm having it finish here so we won't just ignore his post.))

Steve caught the water bottle and took a big gulp, shocked at how thirsty he was. Don't know him either, but he was with the group, he took Sarah with the claw guy. Claws did mention on how four eyes was a traitor to Umbrella, only to find he had is own agenda... p***k. he added with a bitter tone, remembering how the guy knocked him out cold. His hand started crushing the water bottle. He stood up, fighting the urge to throw something, but calmed a bit thinking about Claire, though he was unsure on how she would take it, him being here. Thanks for the chat Chris, let me just take a walk. Need to clear my head. He gave a salute to the man, before turning his heel and heading the opposite direction.
