To spite the fact that I have been drinking wine since I was a child (Jewish family, religious wine drinking), I have a depressingly low alcohol tolerance. Two gin & tonics and I'm swaying on my feet, meowing like a cat and sharing my life story with anyone within ear-shot.

Mmm...Red wine! One of my favorite alcoholic beverages. Actually since I have turned 21, I have discovered wine (in general), is my favorite alcoholic drink. I can handle my booze pretty well. Maybe because I am half German and 1/4 Scottish. ninja Hehehe!

I get nasty hangovers from red wine. Whites, reislings and blushes, NP. But red always gets me. I also don't like the taste of red wine much, not sure why though, it's just too, too something.

I like a nice merlot (though I haven't yet found a shiraz I like). They tend to be richer and um... more viscous? than whites. In general I do prefer whites, generally reislings, gwertztraminer, and pinot gris but I'm happy with a chardonnay if there's no alternative. Also rosés and bubblies, yum.

But reds give me a headache after the second glass, generally. I'm not sure why. Maybe I don't drink enough water when I'm drinking red. Maybe there's something in them my body doesn't like. Apparently Sir Stephen of Fry is allergic to Champagne, poor bugger. ninja

My drink of choice is gin. Gin and tonic on the rocks with a twist.

Maybe we should go to the gorge or Presque Isle. They always inspire me to write short stories and poems.

Are you still planning on doing that collection of horror short stories?

Between the pain and the lack of inspiration, I haven't been able to do anything but mope about. Every time I try to write or paint I just end up sitting there, staring crying
