Character Test

[Waifu Trashu]

((Note:
This isn't official in any way. It's simply a test between me and Cysic.
Yes Shawn knows what's going on so we're not just doing this spontaneously although I did change the character some bit. More like back to his original idea.))


Visco


A rather large Umbreon looking Eeveelution trotted across the large, empty plain. His vertebrae-like tail slowly waved behind him with each step just barely off the ground, seemingly fully functional as a normal tail would be.
His biggest throw off was something between that and his jewel perched on his forehead inside of his circular marking.

He hopped onto a large rock and sat down. His ears giving a swift twitch as his green eyes carefully took in his surroundings... The plain was indeed large, but it didn't seem like it had anything worth going to for.
He tilted his head with a short breath and a little disappointment.
So far the exploring was rather... uneventful.

Although the Umbreon's journey was without event or difficulty for quite some time, that was not to be; not for forever.

A large Luxio stepped out from behind a rock. If not for the subtle physical differences between Luxio and Luxray, he could easily be confused for the latter through size alone. His lips were covered in dry blood, as if he had eaten within the past few hours. "Heh, what a freak." He licked some of the dried blood off his lips, his face twisting as he relished the taste. "I suppose I could always go for some more." He sprinted forward at the Umbreon headfirst. His fur crackled with a subtle but present electricity. ((Spark.))

His ears twitched again and after a second, he lazily peered over his shoulder at the Luxio.
Was that really necessary? Something as large as it had been must have had quieter methods.

"You're noisy."
He stood and arched his back, stretching quickly before a confusing force of energy at the Luxio.
He jumped off the rock relatively quick to create a wall between the two. His eyes locked onto the Luxio as he slowly stepped back and instinctively arched his back again. His tail waved behind him again to make sure nothing was behind him that would possibly cause a possible trip and fall.

The beam hit the Luxio dead-on and the world began to turn. Left was right, up was down and which way was forward? Fortunately for the (very confused) beast, it was gone almost as quickly as it came; unable to find his path, he smashed headfirst into the rock that the Umbreon had placed between them. A slight crunch sounded as blood splattered against both rock and fur. "********, that hurt!" The electricity in the creature's fur intensified and shot out, each bolt crawling across the field in all directions. It would be difficult, but not impossible to evade. ((Discharge))

He stood upright when his passive assault hit the beast, awaiting to see what would happen next only to tense and wince slightly at the sound of the Luxio hitting the rock.

Ouch.

Grinding his teeth for a moment, he straightened his posture again... Was he knocked out?
He took a few cautious steps forward but stopped instantly at the sound of the Luxio's swearing.
Great... He sighed, assuming this would continue for some time but while he was expecting to get charged at again, he felt his fur begin to stand slightly.... static?

He made the connection quickly, cursing to himself and sprinted away from the Luxio before skidding to a stop. His body turning back toward the Luxio as he released a Psybeam.
The Luxio's attack otherwise caught up quickly, hitting the Umbreon's paws and climbing his legs before burning out.
He danced around what he could after he released his own attack, but doing much more wasn't possible.
His legs gained a slight shiver and his thin, short fur was standing in a film of static but otherwise, he had very little of a reaction.

Keep your distance, or attack-- pick something.

He growled at himself for a moment and his tail lashed behind him. Luxio's were too attack friendly. He could hit him from here, he could hit him just as hard from close range. In the end he just released a Psychic at the Luxio as a follow up. Bits of rock around the Umbreon just barely lifted off the ground before falling again at the intensity.

The Luxio came forward after releasing the Discharge, with the Psybeam barely phasing him; after all, it wasn't a very strong attack to begin with. Although, the effect seemed peculiarly mild; perhaps it had something to do with the Eeveelution's dual-nature? After all, a dark-type using a psychic ability was... hardly natural.

The Psychic, however, was something a bit better prepared and certainly much more effective. The Psybeam that had been unleashed on the fly paled in comparison to the properly-used Psychic attack. Visco's enemy began to tumble as the force surrounded him and physically assailed him; he managed to regain his balance and hold his ground by gripping his claws into the earth. A low growl sounded from his throat. "That hurt you ******** freak!"

Another discharge came, but the Luxio wasn't so slow to follow this one. He rushed forward, riding the crest of the electricity with his fangs primed. If he took the electricity, he wouldn't be safe. He would get hurt and then be easier to pick up and devour. If he tried to dodge one... well, the Thunder Fang was waiting for him.

Visco smirked at the Luxio's rage. It was rather amusing.

"Hey, I didn't start this- don't blame me."
He replied with a shrug before trotting around again, this time with a slight hop; provokingly. His front right leg didn't take the stress well and gave out due to the stress, making him stumble slightly.

Visco growled and stopped, looking back at the Luxio who'd already began his charge at him.
This again?
Visco tilted his head but he noticed the discharge soon after.
...Oh. That could be an issue.

He hesitated in thought. He'd either get hit by both or hit by one.
With that, he dashed forward, vanishing and reappearing in front of the Luxio as he threw his paw forward at the Luxio's head(Faint Attack) before getting his side caught in the large lion like creature's jaws.
Visco felt slight pressure in his side as his lashed his sharp tail at the Luxio and struggled to get a grip on the ground with his paws, all the while his body gave sudden jerks at the electricity.
Both of which really wouldn't help the wound in any way, but what did he know.

The Faint Attack did little to phase the Luxio, who was far too pleased to see his prey within his grasp to seriously mind the weak attack. It wasn't that he wasn't affected, but that against his significant momentum he just simply couldn't be stopped by such a small creature.

His hot breath came out in slight huffs against the Eeveelution's skin. His fangs sank down slowly, ever so slowly on his prey. He wanted to relish it. To feel it's body squirm and see it's eyes widen with terror. He deserved no less for the pain he had gone through to catch the little ********. The tail flailing against his side did little more than whet his appetite.

((Small suggestion! As Visco cannot feel pain, attacks that cause indirect damage would be less efficient. Fire, ice, electricity etc. wouldn't have as strong an effect on him as they would most people. In that situation, the better choice probably would have been to try and stall the Luxio somehow and then absorb the Discharge. Hopefully he would have been able to shake off the after-effects somewhat before the Luxio managed to catch back up. Normally the pain from having electricity forced through your system would be unbearable, but Visco avoids that entirely.))
