Why girls and women in Islam wear that head scarf which called Hijab and that thing that covers the hall face ?
What's the wisdom behind that ?
Is it important ?
Don't you feel sometimes that your Hijab is like making you don't look good ?

The Hijab will make me look bad if I wear it while the other part of my body is expose (arm).

I don't know what the name of the thing that cover the face but its actually not necessary, really.
I'm too tired to explain but I hope this cleared out the second question.

wisdom... i could say that wearing hijab is one way of protecting oneself -some men do attracted to woman by hair (that's what shampoo advertising is trying to say - show beautiful hairs to attract guys?) (lame, huh...)

another is.. take this for example:
A doctor ask you to eat a medicine, at certain dosage (at certain amount), & at certain timing in order to make you feel better, or to cure it.
You did not question it to why, is it? (commonly, people did not ask why must at such this & that, but i don't know how's your way)

same goes to this - our God told us to wear hijab (that is to cover from hair to the chest, then all the body part as well, except hands & face(?)), & during this saying was first passed to our Prophet Muhammad, he told his followers to do as such. His followers did it without questioning though.

Is it important ?

personally, i do feel it's important to me - i feel incomplete without it

personally i happen once to feel like that - but, as i thought again, it's not my looks that important, it's how i interact.
yeah, commonly, people assume that women's crown is the hair, but why showing off your crown when you can be more free & easy without showing off your crown..? (beating around the bush)

Hello
To answer your question i'll give you an example/question.
Do you think that a very expensive and rare diamond or a special painting could be exposed to the public so that anyone and everyone can see it rolleyes ???
Absolutly not.
Women in islam are appreciated and protected by their hijab. The hijab isn't just a scarf, it is also a behaviour that defines women. That way the muslim woman is respected for her beliefs and qualities and she's not juged by her look, besides do you really think that men respect or would be interested in "getting to know" a woman who shows her body parts? They don't care exclaim All they see is hot body.
I feel proud wearing my scarf and i can see in the street that men respect me, and hijab doesn't have to be a jilbab. It can. be anything as long as it's not short, tight or transparent.
The thing that covers the face is galled "niqab". In Islam it's a controversy whether women should put it on or not. Butt i could say that it's more of an arabian tradition than an order.
Good luck. heart
