Mission: Save Modmas and kick some Gambino a**.

Walking through the crowded marketplace was a tough enough job for anyone, but proved difficult for anyone carrying multiple bags full of bargain items. Airi wriggled her way through the masses of people as they argued over cheap and miss-priced prized items.

Being skinny had it's advantages, other than looking great, she could easily wiggle through large crowds and get away unscathed. This was usually no problem but today posed it's own problems. Her bags couldn't make it through the tight squeezes as she could.

She glared at the crowd of people and focused her attention at the two overly large people that her shopping bag were squished between. A frown appeared on her face, and dissatisfaction filled her eyes as she grabbed the bag handles and yanked them lose from their prison. With a small sigh of relief she smiled and started to walk off happily towards the metro to head back home after her successful day at the marketplace.

As Airi headed towards the metro she stopped and looked down one of the busier streets of Gaia and saw that the Mods were passing out presents and tossing gold to the happy Gaians. She stopped and smiled sheepishly, as she knew she could not pass up this opportunity. So she skipped over, closer and closer to the crowds and the happy mods. Airi smiled and hoped that she could ask the Mods for a set of mini's. She blushed as she continued to push towards the front of the crowd.

At that moment there were screams from the front. The crowd was pushed back and many people started to loose their balance and topple over others. Airi gasped and was pushed down to the ground by a man trying to keep his balance.

Suddenly people were scrambling to their feet and running away, screaming at the top of their lungs. Their screams created widespread panic in the crowd. Everyone was trying to get away from the front in a hurry.
Airi curled up and covered her head in order to keep herself from being trampled.
"Ahhhh! What's going on!?" She shouted to herself as many stepped and tripped over her small body.

Airi looked up after the last of the crowd had trampled over her. She quickly looked towards where the front of the crowd was, where the panic had started and left her on the ground heavily bruised and scraped.

She was starring into the angry eyes of a Grunny.

Airi continued to stare as her heart raced, if she didn't act quickly then that adorable little monster would tear her up.

Airi quickly grabbed her shopping bags and jumped up to her feet. A little wobbly due to her trama she was able to run towards the grunny and plow her heavy bags into it's side.

She had knocked it to her left about 5 feet, this would give her enough time to calculate a plan real quick. She noticed that she had knocked the dog snot out of the poor little fella, pity filled her heart for a moment before realizing that the angry Grunny was charging towards her once again.
"Damn you and your cuteness..."

"Why must you be so cute! I feel so guilty about hurting you!!"
Airi panicked as she continued to be chased by the angry Grunny. She herself had two kittens at home that she adored, they would be disappointed in her if she harmed a small creature. As she thought about her fuzzy companions at home she had slowed her pace which was a mistake.

The Grunny leaped forward and grabbed a hold of her ankle with it's teeth. A burst a pain shot through her nervous system and sent her to the ground crippled with pain. She growled in anger and used her other foot to kick the Grunnies head, knocking it off after a few swift kicks. She didn't kick hard enough to seriously hurt the Grunny, unlike her first attack with her shopping bags.

Quickly she got up but fell again, blood was soaking through her socks and was being absorbed into her boots. Airi winced in pain as she grabbed onto her ankle to apply pressure to the wound. Her eyes were pinned onto the Grunny as she watched it shake it's head and quickly groom it's wounds.

Airi needed to stop being nice to this creature, better yet she needed to get through her head that Grunnies weren't innocent creatures... they were Gambino's monsters. It was decided then that Airi would take care of this Grunny then kick Gambino's a** for ruining her Modmas.

"Gambino you will pay for your sins, for you will surely regret the day that you attacked Gaia's mods and brought upon fear and terror to the people of Gaia. I, Airi of the Karasu Clan will bring down punishment unto you!"

Airi was so proud of her speech of justice that she forgot to keep her attention on the Grunny. It had enough time to charge at her and attack her bad ankle, again sinking it's teeth deep into her leg.
She screamed out in agony as it shook it's head side to side, dragging it's teeth up and down her ankle. Shredding the skin as it growled viciously, blood poured from her leg into it's mouth. It's saliva entering her wound and causing more pain.
Airi collapsed and tried to kick it off again, the pain was blinding as she tried to crawl away from the Grunny. She saw her bags and started to drag her body along the ground, reaching for them in desperation.

Airi reached for the bag and was able to grab onto the handles. She grinned and swung the bag up over her body and smashed it into the Grunnies body, his teeth ripped through her ankle before he went flying across the ground.
Airi screamed and grabbed onto her ankle again, blood covering her hands and foot. She winced as she applied more pressure.
"That little jack a**...."
Thankfully the Grunny hadn't torn her Achilles tendon, but it did a lot of damage. She decided to get up off the ground as quickly as she could. With much effort, Airi picked her self up off the ground and limped quickly to a fence, and carefully crawled up on it. She balanced herself so that she could sit on it for a few moments to attend to her wound.
She ripped a piece of clothe off her skirt and wrapped her ankle tightly to keep herself from bleeding out. She could already tell that she had lost a good amount of blood.
"I need to be smarter..." she whispered to herself as she kept her eyes on the recuperating Grunny.

Airi winced in pain as she applied more pressure to her bleeding ankle, the bleeding was slowing. Her eyes glanced back up to the Grunny, it had started it's charge at her again. He too was was severely wounded and ended up face planting into the ground. He laid on the ground for a few moment, making grumbling noises. Airi burst out laughing, falling off the fence and landing in the grass, holding her sides.

Airi continued to roll around on the ground laughing at the clumsy embarrassed Grunny.
