It was late, the fog was still clinging to the air and I hoped that I would not get lost. There had been talk, whispers in shadows of things... people being attacked. Modmas was on the horizone, only days away till the celibration would start, I hoped that I would get there, unharmed and on time

the grunnie leaped from a bush, I hadn't even heard it as it must have slipped out of the brush. I was fortunate, swinging my fist, catching it on the side of the head, I knew I only did a little bit of damage but iwas slightly dazed. I prayed that it would be enough.

I barely had time to catch my breath when the creature leaped once more at me. My strike missed, I only prayed that I would not miss again
