Quote: 'Twas a dark and snowy winter night. Gambino paced back and forth in front of his mantel, a warm, fiery glow lighting his face. "The Mods are gathering, Sir. They're coming from near and far, bringing gifts of gold and items. The citizens are all cheering and lining the streets. It's an all-out celebration," Gambino's faithful Labtech 1337 reported. "NO!" bellowed Gambino into the hearth of the fireplace, causing sparks and embers to shoot forth. "This cannot happen. Not again! The words on the lips of every Gaian last year were "Modmas this" and "Modmas that"! Not a word was mentioned about me, the richest and most powerful figure in all of Gaia. . .I will not stand for this. I will not allow them to forget me. They will all see that this Modmas is nothing but a hoax and that I, Johnny K. Gambino, am their true friend." With fire dancing in his eyes, Gambino spoke once more. "We will crush Modmas and all those foolish enough to try and make me insignificant. . .Assemble everyone. . .We attack at dawn.." Jack Miller woke up from his luxurious house in Barton Town. He yawned sleepily and check out his alarm clock. "Ugh...9:00 AM? I'm late..." Rolling over out of the bed, Jack wiped his eyes with his hands and got dressed in a purple beanie cap, a red shirt, jeans, and sandals. "Let's see what we got in the fridge..." As the door opened, a blast of coldness hit Jack in the face. But that was nothing compared to what he saw inside the fridge. Or, in this case, what he didn't see. It was completely empty! Jack thought to himself," Aw man...now I gotta hit the shop, too... Today couldn't get any worse." It's amazing how wrong one Gaian can be. A loud crash sound came from outside the house that shook the foundation of Barton Town. "What was that?", though Jack. "Is that's Gambino's voice out there. What the heck is he doing here?" Jack cautiously peered out the window, but his view was obscured by smoke. Outside, he could hear other Gaian citizens screaming at the top of their lungs. He could also hear Gambino's gruff voice, though it was muffled. "Today, we end Modmas!" Jack's mind was unable to understand the words. "Gambino? Attacking Barton Town? Because of Modmas? What the heck is going on?", thought Jack. All he knew was that he needed to stop this madman, and bring piece to all of Gaia. They needed a savior more than ever.

Jack Miller grabbed his handy wooden sword and dashed outside, unable to see anything. Suddenly, a loud squeak came in front of him. That noise. It was unmistakable. It was the sound of Grunnies! Sure enough, a Grunnie stepped out from the smoke in front of him. Jack grabbed his sword and held it at the green monster.

The grunnie retaliated with a quick bite attempt, but luckily Jack rolled out of the way. He slashed again, and this time he could feel a solid hit. He yelled out in victory, until he turned around and realized the grunnie had caught the blade of the cheap wooded sword with it's bare paws. Luckily for Jack, the Grunnie caught a splinter, so it wasn't all a loss. Except now, Jack had no sword...

Jack needed a weapon, and fast. He glanced at the Grunnie, who promptly split the wooden sword in half. The sword that had meant everything to Jack since his childhood. He remembered sparring with his childhood friends, and kept it a treasured item. And now it was gone. Out of pure anger, Jack ran up to the Grunnie and full-on tackled it, catching it off guard. He landed a direct hit and shoved it down to the floor.

Jack Miller wandered the road to Barton Town. It was chilly and the wind blew the tree right over. The whole place was a wreck. Grunnies and other enemies had destroyed buildings and houses along the road to Barton Town, and the clouds had cast a dark shadow over the road. He needed to get to Barton Town and fast. Suddenly, he heard a "cracking" sound in the leaves. He looked around, but no one was there. Suddenly, a Grunnie jumped out from the bushes.
