Personality: Gali has always been closer to her father and his ideals than her mother, mostly because of Maua's intense focus on Nyota and the level of nobility each of her children hold. Despite her mother's neglect, she doesn't turn her back on her noble birth, instead embracing who she is and following her father's example of compassion and treating others-- regardless of rank-- with respect (even though she knows where the social lines are drawn). The meaning of her name "Knowing Look" was an apt choice, as the intense, curious stares of her childhood have developed into a mysterious, piercing stare that breaks through any masks or affectations people put on, allowing Gali to discern peoples' real motivations and personalities. This makes her very good at understanding situations and getting to the heart of the problem, but considering the common tendency of nobility to affect fake emotions, it makes those of her class very uncomfortable, and often put Gali into trouble with her mother when she was younger since she had a tendency to see and then say, without stopping to really think about what she was doing. It wasn't her fault, it's simply how she was at heart, but as she grew she learned how to direct that knowing stare and her words at someone without being open enough to leave room for the person to object. She prefers to spend much of her time with lower nobles and the higher realms of the middle class, because there she tends to find fewer problems and lions with more honesty.

Personality: Najia loves being part of a family and, really, just loves being loved. The days when her family would huddle together in their den to sleep are some of Najia's favorite memories. She just likes being surrounded by warmth and knowing she is safe and has others who care for her that she can care for in return. Although her mother can be distant at times and Najia can tell the days when Pur'Jed's mind is agitated and elsewhere, she still cares for her mother, although that may change when she gets older and Pur'Jed abandons them. Najia tries to understand the other lion's side of things when fights occur or she is hurt, but breaking hearts and abandoning those who love you is one thing she would have a hard time forgiving. Even with her siblings' quirks, and Ruzanski's habit of talking down to her, Najia loves her family and would be happy to defend them if the need arose. She has no intention of ending up a lone lion if she can help it. She has no trouble going off on her own, of course, and Pur'Jed will obviously teach her to fend for herself, but she always wants someone to return to when her journey is done. One of her primary habits is that Najia speaks her mind, especially when she feels some kind of wrong is being done.
Najia is a singularly determined creature. Once she gets her mind set on something she will accomplish it, come hell or high water, even if she has to step on lower folk to do it. Oh yes. Despite Najia's strong feelings about family, some of Pur'Jed's opinions of non-purple lions ("lower folk" ) and her own entitlement have rubbed off on Najia. Except during fights, Najia would never dream of rubbing her brother's lack of purple in his face, but that does not extend to her treatment of others. She can be amiable with other lions, and is always happy to build friendships with whomever she meets, but there is always that hint of racism in the back of her mind that implies that a lion with no purple is not quite on the same level with her. Her slight superiority complex developed because she shows the most purple of all her siblings and, in Pur'Jed's eyes, purple fur, and the amount of purple fur on the lion, is important. Najia's superiority isn't something that comes out in conversation as openly as Pur'Jed's opinions do, but it is present. In Najia's case, it's simple truth to her, so her opinions are mostly subconscious.

Personality: Sölveig thirsts to know her people and their exploits, and takes great pride in her position as Lawspeaker. She is as honest as she can afford to be and loves to talk to her fellow pride members, especially right after the Reavers return from successful raids. Even the smallest conversation with her peers can point her in the direction of a new story. As a consequence of needing to fight to prove herself to her pride, and the time it took her to absorb generations worth of history, she has become a tough adult and will respond with a sharp or a witty tongue depending on what the situation calls for if she is challenged.
Bio: Sölveig grew up within Myrsky Syntynyt as the daughter of the warrior Erik Hallonson and the freeborn Thora Byrnson. She showed an interest in the pride's history as young as her juvenile years and began memorizing the stories told of battle and conquest rather than just enjoying them for a night. She fought for her right to know her pride's history, despite being of the lesser gender, and since she was able to prove she could learn and memorize the history of her pride with exacting detail, she was eventually elected as one of the youngest Lawspeakers in her pride's history.

Personality: Growing up with a scholar for a father, Fahamu could never be called stupid. He absorbs information like a sponge, and for the most part retains it all to pull out later. Hamu is kind, if a bit boisterous, but he always means well. Spending time with the players has only encouraged his friendly attitude and his enjoyment of talking. The one thing he tends to stay quiet about is romance, be it a girl he likes or details about any ongoing romances he may have. For everything else, though, Hamu is glad to talk about, explain, or lend his opinion to any number of topics one could care to discuss. It makes him an extremely affable lion, and it doesn't matter what rank or level of acquaintance the lion he's talking to is: he'll be friendly to anyone as long as they seem comfortable with it.
Unlike his brother, Hamu is an even-tempered lion. He can be persuaded to be angry, but it's a rare occurrence. He figures that most situations can be handled better with a calm head than a hot one.
