Reasons:
* He's immortal
* He only comes out at night
* He clearly can teleport to get around the world in one night
* He has an army of 'elves' or should I say 'sons' that do his bidding
* He can break into homes and leave without anyone knowing
* He can fly
* He uses mind control on kids and parents to be sure they stay asleep while he does his bidding
* He DOES NOT sparkle wink
* Has anyone ever come back who's gone to look for him?
* The gift giving is just a con so no one ever finds out he's a vampire.
