My mum just found my commission folders, one is filled to the brim with clean art, but the other...It's questionable. Knowing how life works, she went for the questionable one. She looked through it, and actually COMPLEMENTED me on how good the drawings were. I was shocked...so very shocked. Help me figure this out...

Weird coincidence, in that just a few days ago I saw another artist posting similar on a submission they made. Completely adult, and their parents saw it and complimented them on it. Weirdest part is that his/her parents regularly see the porn this person creates. eek

...I'm not entirely sure how I should feel about that really. If my parents saw the stuff I did and complimented me, then I'd probably feel a mix of embarrassment, betrayal of privacy, and experience the "heebee jeebees".

You know what I dislike the most about dirty pics? The fact that most of them look better (speaking in artistic terms) than the clean ones.

All I know is it was very AWKWARD. I don't know if I've ever felt that uncomfortable in the same room as my mother before. Sure, when I walked in the house one day in full fursuited glory, she was like lolwut iz dat?! But that's nowhere near as creepy as her complementing my on the detail of an anthro fox's nether regions. O.o

Not all things go so bad, I opened up to my mother today about my sexuality, and she was fine with it. I was amazed and almost had a heart attack. I also gave her peeks to my artwork, she complemented me as well.

Nothing. I just found it strange that my own mother would find anything good to say about it. I laughed about it later, but found it slightly disturbing at the time. Either way, that's a new one for me. So, yeah.
