After talking to Tavar about his pride and hearing more about it from Balia, Jini decided what she was going to do. Of course, slipping away from her family had been easy despite her bright coat. Her father didn't seem to care what she did, and Kizi had been off doing her own thing (probably with Sungura) and so Jini merely... walked away.
She headed to where she'd last seen Tavar. He'd mentioned that his pride was nearby, and Jini tamped down any fear she had of stumbling across someone she didn't know. Hopefully all she'd have to do was mention knowing Balia or Tavar and she'd be fine.
She could only hope that was the case.
Steeling herself, Jini padded unknowingly onto the territory of the Aikanaro'hini lands, determined to find a home here.

Balia was stuck on baby-sitting duty today. It wasn't voluntary and she wasn't told she had to, but she knew if she let her baby-Aunt, Jr., off by herself that she was gonna get knocked out by both her Grandmother and her Father. Leaving babies by themselves was not a feature of a good mother, and she wasn't going to have her ability to parent be brought into question.
"Pick up the pace, Jr." Balia said, trying not to sound too harsh on the bright red cub, but still trying to be authoritative. She had to get her to pick up the pace somehow, otherwise she might miss running into Angra. She thought it was be an amusing sight to have Angra see the little red cub, who practically looked as if she could be her and his own offspring.
The little red cub in question was trying to keep up with her older Niece the best she possibly could. Hakuna'msiba, affectionately or not so affectionately named Jr., was trying her best to keep her little legs in line with Balia's, though because she was so much closer to the ground she managed to run into several snags that the fully grown lioness didn't have issues with. Regardless, she was enjoying the time she was spending with her older Niece, even thought it felt more like Balia was being a big sister than her Niece.
"Where are we goin' Balia? Are we gonna go see Shababa? Are we meetin' Mommy somewhere? Ooo! Are we huntin's?" Jr. asked, her excitement resonating through her tail as it wiggled around almost as if she were a wild dog.
The little cub had some interesting quirks, but her biggest was her constant cheerfulness. No one was this happy in the pride, at least not so innocently happy. She was like sunshine, and it was mildly charming but at the same time sickeningly sweet. Little red ears perked up quietly when she heard something rustle off in the distance. Balia was so focused on the way she was going that she didn't hear it, but Jr. had. She stopped and looked to her Niece speaking loudly in her cubby voice.
"Balia! Balia! Something made noisies in the bushes! There's stuff there!" Jr. said, deciding to take the initiative and going after it. To her surprise she ended up face-to-face to another large lioness, a little smaller than Balia, bright yellow with some weird markings, "Uh oh...."
Balia had heard her younger Aunt and sighed heavily when she looked back to see Jr. out of sight. Scowling to herself, Balia back tracked to find her Aunt and followed the Scent to the 'Uh oh...'. To her surprise, standing before her was Jini, one of Angra's own children. What exactly was she doing so deep into Pridal lands?

Jini's bright eyes narrowed as she heard voices, and when a bright little cub burst through the underbrush, they narrowed even more. This was something unexpected. Jini wasn't really sure how to proceed and she hesitated. A large breath of relief burst past her lips when she spotted Balia. Excellent, really. This couldn't have turned out better if Jini had wanted it to.
Giving a disgust-filled look to the cub, Jini swiftly turned her attention back to Balia. They'd both aged since the last time Jini had seen the older lioness, and Jini couldn't help but silently admire Balia. She was such a lithe and stunning female; it was understandable why her father seemed so taken by her. Then again, he also preferred Kizi's affections over her own, so perhaps that wasn't the best example.
"Balia," Jini spoke in a quiet voice, but one filled with determination as she cut to the chase, "I come to your pride lands in hopes of finding a place here. I don't want to keep flitting after my father like some sick little worm." Jini snorted. "You mentioned this place before and... well, I have no where else to go."
