Kasi'wakia stretched leisurely, eyeing the rocks in front of her. Not for a nap, though she had been napping earlier in the family den, but for training. The female was still determined to better herself. Of course, it was also rather fun to play on the rocks. She wiggled a little, readying herself to leap onto the rocks to play - err, to train.

She launched herself up, sliding a little as she reached the top of the rock and nearly going off the other side, she quickly scrambled for purchase on the rock. Outstretching her claws, she winced as they scraped on the rock but drew her to a sufficient halt.

She pushed herself upright, and glanced around her. The rock wasn't really high, but it did provide her with a nice view of the pride. Immediately distracted, Kasi had spotted two people sparring in the distance. She could barely make it out, but Kasi had always had a fascination with sparring and the duels of her home pride. It was one of the few things which would quickly distract her.

She stretched and contemplated training more, but instead settled on the rock, watching the blurry and hard to see fight, eager to see the outcome, though both of the duelling lions looked the same from a distance.

Kakek Api trotted back happily from one of his favorite things he was spending time with his grandfather, Kidondo. He loved his parents however he had an odd sort of connection with Kidondo. Kakek's name meant "Grandfather's fire" and to Kakek not only was this to be something exciting but also something to take pride in and be proud of at all times. He felt like it was important to him and he felt like it was a part of what he was supposed to be and a part of what he was supposed to do in his life. It was something that he was to strive to be, and at the moment it's what he was working at.

He wanted to be a guard at first it was part of his plans, be that first before becoming something else. He wanted to be more then that, much more then that, he wanted to be proud of it. so he was returning from some paroling. He planned on going out later to hang out with his aunt and do some more learning with being a guard. He found this exciting.

He lifted his head looking up trying to figure out what he was going to do for now, he was distracted not really thinking clearly enough to completely pay attention to where he was going or what he was doing. And he was some where else in his mind that is until something caught his attention, that was a body in his way causing him to stop and look forward, he ran straight into another creature. It was that girl again.

"Sorry!"

Kasi was utterly entranced by the duelling and so was surprised when the male crashed into her, stumbling over her and disrupting her view of the fight. She huffed, and snarked, "watch where you're going!" before even glancing up to see who had run into her. Oh. She recognised that dark colouring, and those markings. It was the boy who had been afraid to fight her. Kakek Api.

"Oh, it's you again," Kasi said, huffing. "Still, watch where you're going! You could hurt someone." She paused, and rolled her eyes, peering back at the duel which seemed to be winding down. "Not me, though," she added, in case he thought he'd hurt her.

She hadn't seen much of the male since the last time they'd spoke in depth, mostly because she had been busy with other things and had never thought to actually seek him out. He had been uninteresting, with no real keen interest in fighting her, or helping her train, so it wasn't that interesting, really.

She glanced back at him, wondering if he was still as obnoxious as he was when he was younger. Well, she may as well find out, as the duel she was watching seemed to be well and truly over. The red one had won...which did not matter much to Kasi, as they were both red, and she could not have said who fought better, as it was all merely a blur to her. "What are you doing?" She asked, Kakek. He seemed to have been doing something before he ran into her.

It took Kakek a moment as he listened to the other cub's voice, taking in what she was saying before he groaned. It was her again,he was glad that he didn't run into her for a long time, she was very much a brat she annoyed him more than anyone that he ever met. Sure he didn't mean her in the best circumstances but that didn't matter to him. She didn't have to be a brat about it thats for sure. He was going to be nice to her, or at least some what nice to her. His father told him that he needed to be nice to girls. It wasn't his favorite idea but it was kind of true.

He looked at her before shaking his head. "You should be away of your surroundings just as much as I should watch where I'm going." He mumbled as he straightened back up and got his footing back then he glanced at her again shaking his head, not wanting to comment on what she had said, he was biting his tongue, he was going to at least try to be nice. He flicked his tail behind him a few times. He had a bit of a temper like his mother and he wanted to make sure to control it as he saw his mother did. He really looked up to the adults in his life.

Kakek looked at her before making a very small face then flicked his hair out of his eyes. "I was coming back from spending time with my grandfather." He said simply before thinking a bit. "I was going off to learn some things from my aunt." He then looked at her and arched a small brow. "Why?" He asked curiously in a slightly annoyed tone, he couldn't understand why she had to insist on just letting him pass, she knew how to annoy him even thought he just wanted to head on and continue to what he was doing.

Kasi opened her mouth to protest his comment, before closing her mouth firmly. Damn. He was right. She shouldn't have gotten so distracted. Had he been one of her siblings, she would have gotten pounced, not simply run into and then things would have been much different. She'd never have lived it down if someone had managed to get the better of her while she was so distracted.

She decided to ignore that whole part of the conversation, rather then admit he was right.

Kasi eyed him as he spoke of what he was doing, faintly curious. She didn't spend much time with her extended family, focusing instead on her many siblings rather then elder relatives. To be honest, she was never sure who she was related to or not, to actual spend time with them. "What are you learning from your aunt?" She asked, ignoring his question 'why'. She wasn't really sure 'why', but it was making conversation at least.

Kakek stretched his paws out some and wiggled his toes as he looked at him. He thought about it for a moment he was surprised that the lioness was okay with the fact that he just ran into her. Well he wasn't sure if he was okay with that but for that matter he knew that she wasn't saying anything with what he had just said. He shook his head before he flicked his hair out of his eyes and moved on to what Kasi was saying next.

He arched a brow surprised that she wanted to know what he was doing. He was kind of annoyed, She wasn't answering his questions but she seemed like she wanted him to answer her questions. He rolled his eyes once again he was just oging to go with it for now at the moment. "I'm learning how to be a guard from the pride." He nodded at the idea. His aunt Zii had always been a major part of his life, Zii had been His mother's best friend and not just her sister.

He paused before he spoke again he wasn't going to give up any information to what she wanted to know until she answered his questions. Not on his watch he wasn't very happy that she didn't answer them to begin with, it was only fair if she was going to ask questions that she answered his first. Oh what was he getting himself into today with this girl

"Why?" He questioned again a little more pushy this time.

Ah, so he wanted to be a guard. Interesting. The position, though not boring, had never really interested the active female, much preferring the position of soldier than guard. Guards seemed too...dull, and soldiers actually to fight more often, which suited her better.

It was good that he had someone to teach him though, she thought, nodding her head as he spoke. "Well, sounds...interesting," she said, not knowing why she was attempting small talk. She should have just stalked off and gone to find either her parents or her siblings.

She blinked as he repeated his 'why' question, and a frustrated look crossed her face. "Why? I was just asking. You know, trying to be polite, sheesh," she retorted, rolling her eyes. "I'll just not try next time then." He was such a jerk, she thought with a scowl. She had tried to be nice and he kept acting suspicious of her! Not nice.

To Kakek being the guard was the best choice for him, he loved the idea of protecting the pride, he loved it so much he couldn't even describe, every part of defending the pride made him feel full of pride full of so much pride it was hard to describe. He wasn't going to let anything get in the way of what he wanted at one point and that was true.

He looked at her with a curious look, still slightly surprised at the fact that she was still here. She seemed like she didn't want to be here and she wanted to wander away just as much as he did, he didn't understand why she kept talking, he was getting more and more annoyed as she went on.

"You're not trying to be polite," he growled, annoyed at her before shaking his head again at her, "You're being a brat." He growled once again before flicking his tail around behind him then shaking his head again. "Do you want anything or can I leave?" He huffed kind of annoyed that he was still standing here with the female he was kind of wishing he could wander away.

Kasi's fur bristled at his growl, her face falling into a heavy scowl. "I'm not being a brat, you jerk," she snapped. "I was trying to be nice and you just RUINED it." She huffed and pushed herself to her feet. "Clearly, you need manners lessons, as I was only trying to make conversation."

She stretched, her muscles tense with irritation. "Leave. See if I care," she scoffed, before setting about ignoring him. Instead, she scanned the landscape to see if she could see any more duels happening, trying to find something more entertaining then the rude male nearby.

Kasi was not a brat. She was just opinionated and he was a jerk, so he didn't like that. She huffed, muttering under her breath as she tried to find something to distract herself with.

Kakek looked at the male even more annoyed then normal, she really couldn't believe this, he couldn't believe of what she was saying. He was annoyed and he couldn't believe the things that she was saying. "Look," he half growled as he looked at the female and arched a brow at her, his look was obviously annoyed. "You were not being nice, and I was not ruining anything." His tone calmed as he talked and he seemed more frustrated then anything else. "I didn't want any problems today okay?"

He paused annoyed before looking down at his paws again taking in a deep breath calming down once more. He stood up straight and looked at the female in the eyes his body was straight and he looked serious. "You really are being a brat. I'm not being mean and I'm telling the truth." He paused once again before flicking his hair out of his eyes again. "I'm trying to be nice, and I don't want to deal with this nonsense." He flicked his tail behind him as he looked at her, he wished that he didn't have to argue right now, he wasn't in the mood for it. He was hoping the lioness got the point.

Kasi rolled her eyes. He didn't want problems? He was the one causing them! She had just been trying to be nice and he'd ruined things, and now he was trying to blame her? Ugh. Such a jerk.

She narrowed her eyes, spinning back to face him. "If I'm such a brat, then why are you still here?" She snapped. "I was trying to be nice, whether you believe me or not, and I said you could leave if you wanted to. I'm not forcing you to stay and be burdened with my company! It's you who stayed here and are trying to provoke me! If you were really trying to be nice, you wouldn't call me a brat, nor being such a jerk." She was panting a little at the end of her mini-rant. It was rather obvious now why she was called Kasi'wakia, to quickly catch fire. Her temper was easy to flare and it flared hard, but, like all flames, it dulled as her rant faded. She huffed, and her aggressive posture relaxed slightly into a defensive stance instead.

He looked at her before rolling his eyes again. "You blew up the second I opened my mouth with out even giving me a chance." He thought about it for a moment before he shook his head again, this really wasn't worth his time. If he wanted this he could have stayed home with his sibligns. "Well then. You really are impossible!" He huffed again flicking his tail behind him before turning around and starting to walk the other way. "I hope some one really shows you how much a brad you are one day" He huffed to the female was he started to wander away.

Kasi snarled at the male who was leaving, but as a juvenile, the snarl wasn't really that intimidating. In fact, it looked rather unscary, though in time it would grow to look more dangerous.

"Well! Someone will show you you're a jerk some day too!" she bellowed after him, turning her back to him once again so as to not watch him leave, her jaw tilted up. Gah! He was so stubborn and such a jerk. Why would anyone want to hang around him? She huffed, and continued to scan the area, hoping to find something to entertain her and take her mind off that annoying boy.
