WMA to MP3 (Closed) (Got answer I needed)

Okay, so I'm very technically challenged. Anyone here know how I can change my Windows Media Player files into MP3 format? Is there a way to do them all at once instead of doing each file separately?

Ah.. I remember doing something like that to put my music on my phone a long time ago.. But I dont recall the steps..

Yeah like I can transfer the MP3 files to the SD card to put onto my phone, but not the WMP files. I have done a google search and I guess I just run into the problem programs. Like this one I thought it was good, but when I downloaded it a 3min song only half of the song was turned into an MP3 file. It was super jenky.

You are trying to convert a .WAV file, correct?

Oh. That's still very easy!

If you want an mp3, just google either an online audio converter, or download one.

Alternatively, you could try finding the song on youtube, and then using this site:

www.youtube-mp3.org

Yes I could find the song on youtube, but downloading the songs one by one that way into MP3 especially an entire album yeah that is so time consuming. I will try to find some audio converter then.

You put the CD in your computer and open Windows Media Player.

Click the "Rip" button in the top of the screen. Use the drop-down options menu to set the format to MP3, if it isn't already.

Select all files you want to save, and then click "Convert".

Then go to your My Music file and find the newest folder.

I haven't done this in awhile, but I'm pretty sure this is the whole process... >.>

The general rule is that if you can click on the file and make they play a song WITHOUT the CD in, then they can be converted. Just do the same thing I said to the others ones. Open up the folder in Media Player and convert them the way you would if a CD was in.
