Skyrise (apts) TS3??

So all the skyrise apartment buildings n what not they have in the Late Night EP.... is it possible to have more than one family in them? Like the apartments in TS2,,,

No.

In Late Night each apartment/penthouse has only one unit. Which means only one family can move in there, unless you moved two families into the one unit. You can't even go into your neighboring units to visit your neighbor because they only created the one unit.
I'm not sure if it would be different if you were to create your own apartments/penthouses if then you could move multiple families into the same apartment building. You could always try that, but I don't think it would work.

It doesn't matter if you build your own apartments or not, you can only have one household active in each.

In the Sims 2 the game made clones of the lot so that there were actually up to four versions of the lot, one for each family living there. That worked because each lot was its own save file and only one lot was accessed at once.

The game can't do that in Sims 3 because the entire world is the same save file and so all lots are accessable at the same time, meaning you can't have clones of a lot situated in the same space on the world map.

Dam... well they need to change that if possible... mad
