Boys are better!
Name (and meaning!): Ajali (Destiny; chance)
Username: Rhiannon Chandra
Personality: Ajali has a bad temper. He doesn't usually show it to his family, but if one of the things on his list of irritations crops up, he instantly dissolves into a bout of anger. Ajali doesn't like this part of himself, so he tries to keep his anger inside and calm it rather than unleash it, but there will always be those occasions where he won't be able to contain himself.

Most of the time, though, Ajali is a good son. He likes to mock-hunt since he isn't large enough to hunt on his own yet, He helps his family and does it gladly, and is more than pleased to spend as much time with them as he can. He loves his sisters and brothers, his mother, and even his father, though Nazar spends much more time with his white brother than he does with Ajali. If he were to lose any of them (which will come sooner than he expects), he would grieve until he found something new to occupy his mind and ease his loss, be it a mate, a pride, or a companion to travel with in the rogue lands. Regardless of what becomes of him, Ajali will always try to keep an eye on his family, even if that means making long trips between where he ends up and their den.
Prompt: 2
RP response He'd spent the last week as the only boy among three girls. Ajali loved his sisters, especially Arr, but the way his father had taken off with his brother irked him. The long trip from their den to the den of his mother and three other brothers gave Ajali plenty of time to stew in his negativity and build up his anger.

He tried to stomp his temper down before his father noticed and that reflected in an increased slam of his paws into the dirt. Thankfully, Nazar seemed distracted. It was probably their homecoming. It had been a while since the pair had been back to his mother's den, and it was an unusual occurrence for Nazar to arrive with only one of his children. Even more unusual that the one child was not Ajali's brother. Usually, Nazar spent most of his time with his younger son, not his firstborn.

The anger flared up again and Ajali dropped his head sulkily, his green eyes burning a hot glare into the dirt passing under his feet. It wasn't his brother's fault Nazar spent more time with him. His father probably didn't even realize he was forgetting about his other son. Wasn't he taking Ajali to see his mother without her other children or Arr? That made up for it, didn't it? Ajali loved his brother. He'd been raised to, after all, and when Nazar wasn't taking the white cub off for training or whatever, the boys tended to spend their time together. At their age, girls were still too foreign a gender for them to share secrets with and the like. Better to keep boys separate as boys, after all.

Ajali spotted the den his mother lived in in the distance and his anger evaporated under a beaming smile and a suddenly straighter back. He moved a bit more quickly, almost keeping pace with his father now. His brothers were bound to be there, a fresh break from his usual playmates, and Ajali couldn't remember the last time he'd seen his mother. He was bigger now, so his mother was bound to be surprised at that. Ajali just wanted to get to the den, see his family, and enjoy the days he and hid father would be spending there. Now.
Any Plot ideas for the future? After his father died, I think Ajali would probably spend the immediate aftermath with either of the two siblings he's spent most of his time with, but after a few months he would likely start wandering the rogue lands until something catches his eye that can distract him from the grief of losing a family member.

Girls are even better!!
Name (and meaning!): Suhailah (gentle; easy-going)
Username: Boudaihobbit
Personality: Suhailah is a very intelligent little girl and a quick learner. She absolutely adores her father and sometimes wishes that she would have been born a boy so that she could have been his successor. Even if it meant sacrificing his open affection for her. She is very strong willed and can be a little hot-headed at times. She generally tries to be a kind personable girl, but she will not back down from conflict easily. She's not a trouble-maker, but she can get into a spat should one come looking for her. She can be very considerate and full of compassion on one hand, and be very vindictive and unforgiving on the next. Not to say that she is bi-polar, just a good cub with an occasional bad attitude.
Likes: Putting together and taking apart puzzles or patterns of any kind and challenging herself and her brothers with riddles and games. Playing with her brothers.
Dislikes: People speaking negatively about her father. Being bored and having nothing to exercise her brain on, and she gets bored very easily.
How she feels about family/life: Suahilah is content with her life, only wishing she could be of more help to her father. She aspires to have a family similar to their own.
How does she feel being the only girl? Suhailah loves being the only girl. She sees how her father treats the boys and sympathized with them about it, but believes that her father is able to love her more freely because she is a girl, and that she understands him better than anyone because of it.
What does she think about her older sister? She genuinely loves her big sister; she is the only other girl around. Sometimes she gets a little jealous of her if she thinks she is taking attention away from her. Otherwise she uses her older sister as a template of her vision of her future life. She learns everything she can from her about being an adult. She knocks heads with her sister on occasion and confides her thoughts and inner emotions on others.
How does she feel about being spoiled by her father? She loves being spoiled by her father; she loves the attention that this brings to her. She only wishes that her brothers could experience it.
Interesting things: Suhailah has a bit of an obsession with birds. She would very much like to know where their front legs have gone, how they gone features, and, most importantly, how they could fly. She has no idea how flying works and is very curious about it.
Anything else Suhailah sometimes feels insecure about her place in the world and what she was born for. Her father has such expectations of her brothers and her only duty is to be his little baby girl. Her sister seemed to be settling into life, but her’s was such a dull existence that Suhailah refused to end up on that pathway. She tries to learn as much as she can and develop many skills so that she will have more of an opportunity to have an exciting life and help her father achieve his goals. She doesn’t want to be another “useless” lioness lying around in some males cave surrounded by cubs. She wants to be strong like her father and for Bl’azra to get out of the way of that.
Any plot ideas?: Upon her father’s death, she will likely crack under the trauma of losing him. She will somehow blame herself for it and then take it upon herself to go after Bl’azra to avenge him.

Girls are even better!!
Name (and meaning!): Adilah (Justice)
Username: Saint Of Revenge
Personality: Adilah is an extreme tomboy who isn't afraid to play rough and take on her brothers. She will do anything to prove to her father that she loves him though he adores her already. Adi can be swift to anger and isn't above doing things that would be considered morally gray. She is extremely protective and family orientated which may cause some trouble when she gets older as she isn't afraid of picking fights. When she learns about her brother's training and her father's mission, she will start preparing to exact her own revenge on the male who dared to hurt her beloved father.
Likes: Hunting small animals, proving she's as tough as her brothers, getting dirty and playing in the mud.
Dislikes: Being treated like a princess, being excluded from things her brothers do, baths, her uncle, Dziko.
How she feels about family/life: Adilah is extremely devoted to her brothers and enjoys rough housing with them. Her adoration for her father is fierce and she is determined to keep her family as close together as possible.
How does she feel being the only girl? Adilah loves her sisters but she considers them somewhat odd in the fact that she is used to dealing with boys and doesn't quite understand how to interact with someone of the same gender.
What does she think about her older sister? Adi is going to view her with some confusion but overall love. She doesn't like being mothered overly much, so Arr and Adilah might have a few fights if Arrantixa pushes her to be more feminine or tries to keep her from playing rough.
How does she feel about being spoiled by her father? She loves her father, don't get her wrong, but sometimes she just wants to be treated like one of the boys. She doesn't like getting differential treatment and would like to be the one being trained to take out her uncle.
Interesting things: Adi likes for all intents and purposes to pretend to be a male - she speaks in a tone of voice that's a few tones deeper than her natural voice.
Anything else: The song that describes her is She Wants Revenge - "Tear You Apart"
Any plot ideas?: I think it would be an interesting idea for the currently nameless and Adilah to be almost rivals in her father's attentions - she wouldn't like the special time the two spent together training to take out their uncle. Maybe a mirror of the relationship between Nazar and Bl'azra.

Also, when Nazar dies perhaps Adi, crazy with grief, can attack Dziko blaming her for their father's death.

Girls are even better!!
Name (and meaning!): Munira (Luminous, bright, shining)
Username: Rhiannon Chandra
Personality: Being spoiled hasn't ruined Munira's independent streak any. If anything, the doting of her father has made Nira MORE prone to push the boundaries of her indepence, both as a cub and when she gets older. Having 5 brothers has forced Nira to toughen up if she expects to spend time with them or learn the same things her father is teaching her brothers. No, she doesn't need to do it for her father's attention, but she wants to do it anyway.

She is aware that she's still a girl, so when she gets older she'll be able to act like a right proper girl. Right now, though, gender doesn't hold much power over what she does, so it's just a little thought in the back of her mind referencing how special she is compared to her other siblings.

Nira thinks in the here and now. She isn't concerned with the future or even the recent past. What's done is done, you can't fix it, you just have to move on. As for things to come, why worry? If the present is a happy one, there isn't any sense worrying over what "might happen" in the future. All that Nira asks for is a warm spot in the sun, a full belly, and her family. That doesn't mean she doesn't like to be prepared, just that she isn't about to go out of her way to worry about things that might never happen or are already done.
Likes: Food, being equal to her brothers, sunning
Dislikes: Feeling trapped, being talked down to
How she feels about family/life: Nira loves her whole family, and will even spend time with Dziko. Although she loves Arr, Nira tries to spend time more with her brothers, since they're her age and thus more like playmates than guardians. Her other three brothers and mother feature in her life, but aside from periodically missing her mother Nira doesn't think much about them except when they're about to take a trip. She has Arr and her father and two brothers and that's enough. Nira does try to use Dziko as a surrogate mother since her own mother is somewhat removed from her life, but she realizes Nazar doesn't like that and tries to keep her behavior under his radar.

Nira is fairly relaxed about life in general. She's young and has all the time in the world, so she doesn't feel the need to worry about what's to come. Her father and sister take care of her, she doesn't really have any cares other than being separated from half of her family, and even the separation doesn't phase her since she is growing up in that situation.
How does she feel being the only girl? She fights to earn her place among a family of all boys, but otherwise she has no trouble with being the only girl in the litter. Girls have talents boys don't, after all, and that makes her special.
What does she think about her older sister? Oh, Nira adores Arr. Sure, her sister's a little more girly than Nira is, but that's okay. How else is she ever going to learn how a girl is supposed to behave? As a cub, Munira will want to spend time more with her brothers, since she'll view Arr as a babysitter as much as a sibling, but as she gets older Arr's oddities will make Nira want to take care of her sister, which will help them bond.
How does she feel about being spoiled by her father? Who wouldn't love being spoiled? Nira can fend for herself, but she's all for her father making things a little easier for her. The only reason she wouldn't like it would be the loss of experience that could help her keep up with her brothers.
Interesting things:
Anything else: When her brothers get out of hand (assuming her father hasn't taken his favorite son out to train), Nira has no problems stepping in to put them back in their rightful places. Hey, they technically don't have a mother, so someone needs to keep an eye on them and Nira has enough strength of will to do it.
Any plot ideas?: After her father dies, Munira may run off to the Suka'Fumo pride and take refuge there, trying to block out the things she discovered about her father and his death. This is a really loose idea though, that will depend on what kind of interactions she ends up having with her siblings.

Girls are even better!!
Name (and meaning!):
Modre'nebe
(Blue Skies)
Username:
-_Wish of the Goddess_-
Personality:
Quiet, and very, very calculating, there is something very strange about Nebe that one cannot quite put their finger on. She seems to take time to study others before speaking, thinking very much of what she's going to say. Nebe is very confident, though, and has no doubt about anything she does. She is positive that no matter what happens, she will not lose anything, and she will be able to perform above and beyond expectation. Happy to play the role of one of daddy's little princesses, she doesn't mind sharing the spotlight with the other 'sister', though there are times when Nebe may do something to get her father's eyes on just her.

Though not completely a 'daddy's girl' or a 'tomboy', the young femme is very aware of her gender and the sway it can hold, and has no qualms of using it to her distinct advantage. Though usually calm, and a 'think before you speak/act' sort, there is no doubt that she has inherited a bit of a temper. Unable to tolerate being teased or messed with, she will snap out at whomsoever has incurred her wrath, family or not. Nebe will also not back down from a challenge, seeing this as a failure, and unable to cope with such a concept.

She doesn't understand 'going along' with someone else's idea, preferring to dance to the beat of her own drum. Though she might humor them if it's actually a good notion, often, she will be sulky about it. Not ashamed of using her femininity, Nebe might every so often be inclined to use the 'puppy' face to get what she wants. However, this is not weakness. No. It's ensuring that what she feels is necessary, she has. Tactic doesn't matter.

Likes:
+Winning
+Daddy
+Observing
+Fighting (Sometimes)
+Shiny things
+Doing SOMETHING

Dislikes:
+Being bored
+Getting irritated
+Spiders
+Weak people
+Whining

How she feels about family/life:
She's fine with how things are, though she feels that she could do better than any of her brothers at whatever daddy's always taking one of the boy's out for. No matter, though. Nebe's comfortable in her role as the little princess, and content that things, for her, are the way they should be.

How does she feel being the only girl?
She doesn't mind too much. If her brothers get on her nerves, she doesn't mind swatting them about a bit, and being the 'only' girl means that she gets attention from her father, which is all the cub seems to care about.

What does she think about her older sister?
She tolerates her, for the most part. She's eager to grow up, and so sometimes will follow her around, but for the most part, she keeps to herself.

How does she feel about being spoiled by her father?
She ADORES it. Nebe has no problem with being a baby, treated well, and spoiled by the male. It means she gets what she wants, and very rarely gets in trouble~ . It's the optimum scenario, in her mind.

Interesting things:
-Can't STAND spiders, will often squeal at someone else to 'get rid of it' for her.
-Not too fond of her brothers. They're nuisances more than anything else.

Anything else
Nope ^_^ I think I covered my idea~

Any plot ideas?:

Will mod this when I have more time to think on plot ideas 0w0

Boys are better!
Name: Viskal (no meaning, I edited an old Slavic name)
Username: Murphys_Law
Personality: [Short: Critical, suspicious, emotionally reserved, decisive, wry, loyal, active]
Viskal is a solitary young lion. He is, of course, only a cub and is unaware of the plot circling his head, but he normally seems somewhat withdrawn from the family and suspicious of everyone’s motives, even his father’s. Despite his suspicion, he does not resent his family and feels a silent loyalty toward his father and litter-mates – though he would never say so directly of course. Despite his emotional silence, Viskal is a vocal one and hardly uninvolved! He is very perceptive and has no reservations about pointing out flaws in the mental and physical ability of others. Though he is highly critical and gives off an aura of brooding judgment to most everyone, he isn't egotistical. He has no problem accepting returned critiques, though he might not accept what he calls his ‘blunt honesty’ as a fault. Viskal is also as stubborn as he is straightforward, and the young hyena and is not fond of being directed by weak superiors. Hhas no patience for soft or overly cruel leaders and will ignore or challenge their authority despite the punishments, though his treats his father with an automatic respect. He isn't a layabout however, and seems constantly driven to be engaged in some activity. His attention is most often centered on practicing hunting or games, which he practices without the joyous interest most cubs have. Later in life, he will develop a keen love of politics, though for now he is mainly interested with this evil and intriguing character Bl’azra.

Viskal isn’t entirely grim either. In his better moods he has a wry sense of humor and taste for the satirical. He finds it terribly amusing when someone brings about their own problems, though he tries not to laugh in the face of any family members since he feels quite bound to them.
Prompt: #1
RP response Viskal, the dappled, dusty-colored cub of the litter, was the only one still awake. He sat with his paws squarely planted under him while his tail flopped in uncoordinated agitation in the dirt. Occasionally, his ear would twitch at a fly and he’d shake his head, though his eyes stayed fixed firmly ahead. His siblings had drifted off beside him in the shade of a deformed looking thorn tree, and his father was some feet away from the tendriled tree’s shadow, lying stretched and peaceful in the heat of the sun. It was his father that Viskal watched now with such a determined and calculating gaze. Nazar and his brother had just returned from a private training session as if leaving Viskal to wait with his sister was of no matter.

Well, maybe it was no matter. Viskal didn’t think he particularly needed his father’s extra attention. He didn’t find much appeal to clinging to his father’s heels at all times like a spineless waif but… His eyes dropped and landed sharply on his brother, who even asleep looked confident and comfortable.

At least it was easy not to be jealous of his brother. He was clever, bold, and well… heroic. Viskal found his attitude a little senseless at times and he made a point not to spare him from critique in the name of favoritism. Still, on the whole he secretly admired his brother and couldn’t visualize himself becoming separated from him further in life. And no, he wasn’t much jealous of his sisters sitting in the doting shine of his father’s praise either. Maybe they needed it because they were girls, but he knew that sort of attention wasn’t what he craved either.

Viskal stood quite suddenly, paused, and then walked at a measured pace to where his father lied and looked intently down at his face. He didn’t hate the old man for overlooking him either – he couldn’t even if he’d wanted to. Viskal knew he was treated well by him, but he didn’t seem to have a special niche of importance to his father the way his siblings did. That was what bothered him. He sighed thinly in faint longing and the intensity of his posture left him, leaving only a dim tension in the slump of his back. He stood there for a long time, quietly conflicted until in a sudden moment of clarity, he assigned himself that desired niche.

He backed away precisely and laid himself down on the edge of the tree’s shadow, just between his siblings and father. This was where he belonged. One day he could be there to aid his father when his brother wasn’t there, or he could guard his sister, or be there to watch his brother’s back on some dire day. He didn’t desire the limelight of his family’s attention, but he would find a way to serve them somehow. Viskal’s eyes closed and with a feeling of more reassurance, he drifted to sleep.
Any Plot ideas for the future? I’ve got a few ideas, but they’re open for feedback and other notions. I’d like for Viskal to become particularly attached to one or more of his family members. If it’s his father, he would be very motivated to help his brother hunt down and kill Bl’azra (this is a pretty cool plot you’ve got going btw) in revenge after his father’s future death. If it’s his brother or one of his sisters, he could give more impartial assistance and advice. He might even come to be protective of his litter-sister and be very ‘big brother’ish toward any male she looks on in the future, ehehe. Of course, as part of this it would be cool if he developed either into a more paranoid, erratic character or learned to give more trust and loyalty.

It would also rock if in the future he could be maimed somehow, maybe get a gimp leg or something though I don’t know how.

Satsurashi

Girls are even better!!
Name (and meaning!): Dakika'Nili (Midnight blue in swahili)
Username: Satsurashi
Personality: Nili just loves her family, and could be described as a bit of a suck-up. She isn’t particularly wild about the fact that her father pays more attention to her brothers than he does to her, and so she does her best to ingratiate herself to him every time she’s around him. She agrees with everything he says, adores him, and is on his side in any argument that might arise. Additionally, her older sister is her idol. Arr can do no wrong in Nili’s eyes, and when she’s around Nili even copies her 3rd person speech. She doesn’t do it in a mean way, Nili just think everything Arr does is super cool, so of course that unique way she has of speaking is super cool too!

Nili is fond of her other siblings, but a little jealous of the attention they get from dad. Nili is also very affectionate with her mother, but doesn’t seem to look up to her the same way she does Arr and her father. And since she was raised without knowing that Dziko betrayed her father, she’ll be fond of her but always confused about why this lioness is never allowed to leave like her big sister is? And why does dad always watch her like that? To Nili, this will be very mysterious, and if she ever learns the truth she’ll probably be extremely upset, and may even hate Dziko for her betrayal of Nili’s father so long ago.

Even when Nili grows up she’ll be a very non-violent lioness, and so even when she’s at her angriest she’d never hurt someone else intentionally… Even Bl'azra, once she learns the whole story. So she may be at odds with whichever brother is being trained to fight him when they’re older, because she still feels killing is wrong.

Likes: The dark (she blends in!), lightning bugs, her family
Dislikes: Very hot weather, being alone, snakes
How she feels about family/life: Nili just loves her family, and she doesn’t care one bit if other cubs she knows have a more “traditional” family life. Until she finds out that Dziko cheated on her father, she’ll assume that they’re all one big happy family.
How does she feel being the only girl? Nili could care less if she’s the only girl, she’s energetic enough to keep up with her brother’s playing, but she will be put off when her father pays more attention to them than her. She tries to get his attention whenever he’s around.
What does she think about her older sister? Nili just LOVES Arr, and would follow her anywhere.
How does she feel about being spoiled by her father? Nili loves any attention she can get from her dad! Even if it’s not the special attention the boys get, Nili will take what she can get, and is thankful for it.
Interesting things: Nili hates dry, hot weather, and usually camps out in the shade for hours after it’s reached midday. She also hates snakes… even other people’s friendly familiars.
Anything else Nope!
Any plot ideas?: I mentioned them in her personality, but basically once she learns of Dziko’s past it’ll be a huge thing between them, probably a confrontation.

Girls are even better!!
Name (and meaning!): Abeo (Her birth brings happiness.)
Username: Moon_Princess_Yuki
Personality: She kind and arrogant, she thinks she's better then everyone but she tries her best not to show it. The only time you really see this side of her is when she get angry and immedietly starts to talk down to you. She's a rough and tumble sort of girl and enjoys attacking everything in sight, till she get's hurt at least then she runs crying to her father even if it makes her look weak. She also ignores those she dislikes, and feels that when she does talk to someone they should be honored about it. When she's slightly older she'll start to have a tendency to imagine killing people who get on her bad side and attacking those who upset her enough.
Likes: singing, water, her father and brothers, fighting, the laughter of people she likes.
Dislikes: People who look down on her, her fathers brother, being hurt of uncomfertable.
How she feels about family/life: Her father is her world. even when he loses his temper she feels that if he says it it's true and she'll take it. He makes her feel special with makes her happy. Her brothers are like friends she never wants to lose even if they can annoy her some times she can't help but love them, she wants them to always have a smile on their face. She doesn't know what to think of her father's ex-mate and tries her best to avoid her, same with her half sister though she doesn't feel that badly toward's her.
How does she feel being the only girl? She loves it, she feel's special and unique. Though it can be hard for her knowing that she would never be treated the same as her brother's, some times she only wants to be respected as a fighter instead of adored as a daughter.
What does she think about her older sister? She likes her en9ough, but the third person speaking confuses her so she keeps some distance between them. It didn't help that she was another daughter whome her father may start to love more at some point, she can be jealouse of her age. Abd some times she wants to make her disappear so she'll be the only girl.
How does she feel about being spoiled by her father? She feels loved it makes her soft as a fighter but she loves her father and always want's to be his little girl to a crazy extream.
Interesting things: She likes to imagine mauling people she dislikes and when she does this she'll start laughing in a bone chilling creepy way. She has amazing memory and can remember everything she's told about a person, or what she her self observes. Faces and names are the easiest. She's an crazy obcessed daddy's girl.
Anything else Did i mention she's crazy? and would probably maul someone just to stay with her dad?

Velveteen Angel

PostPosted: Fri Mar 04, 2011 9:20 pm

Boys are better!
Name (and meaning!) Imarika (Be Strong)
Username: Velveteen Angel
Personality: Imarika takes being first born seriously. He'll fawn over his sisters, and he'd be just as over-protective as his father when it comes to them. If any little boy talks to them, he'll be all over them, trying to scare them away. If they stick it out, well, Imarika still won't trust them and will want to keep a close eye on them, just in case they're evil people in disguise.

He's a complete daddy's boy, trying to do anything to impress his father. He'll go to ridiculous extents, probably making himself look worse rather then better, but as first born, he thinks he should be the apple of his father's eye, not his brother. Although he cares for his brother, and wouldn't hesitate to defend him in a fight or beat someone up if they hurt him, he will try to look better than he does. He'd never actually hurt him, or do anything to purposely upset him, but if spending an extra hour practicing a trick his brother can't do will make his father like him more, then Imarika will do it!

His personality will come off as slightly brattish at a young age, though he will mellow out as he grows and become more introverted as he trains on his own to be the best. He'll still spend time with his family, and still want to impress his dad, he'll just sneak off whilst his dad trains his brother to train on his own, to impress them with his 'natural skills' that they don't realise he spent hours mastering.

Prompt: ( 1 )

RP response:

Imarika didn't mind about the girl thing. His sisters deserved to be treated like princess, as they were girls and girls were more susceptible to harm then rough-and-tumble boys were! He enjoyed spoiling them just as much as his father did, although he did it in different ways, like scaring off those nasty boys who might come looking for them, or protecting them from a mean frog that might have scared them. He had his priorities right.

But...He was a boy. He didn't mind doing boy stuff, like going out training with his father and brother, but no, his father didn't do that! His brother was special, apparently, and had to be trained. Imarika huffed to himself, wanting to tackle something in irritation. He didn't mind not being treated like a princess...er...prince, but he wouldn't mind some attention, sometimes. Not a lot! He wasn't a girl, he didn't need constant reassurance but couldn't his father train him too? He wouldn't even show up his brother that much! Okay, he would, but he'd tone it down! Maybe...Okay, he probably wouldn't, but wouldn't his father see that made Imarika so much better than his brother?

Clearly his father saw something in his brother that Imarika didn't. Still, couldn't Imarika get a chance?

He flopped on his side, staring at his slumping siblings with a bored expression. It was afternoon, not sleep time! Naps were for the weak! He stiffled a yawn, almost falling over as he made to stand up. His father wasn't in the den, so he must still be awake.

Imarika perked up. Perhaps he could help him guard the family? Daddy and son bonding time! He cheered inwardly, and scuttled from the den.

Spotting his father lying out in the sun, Imarika let a devious smirk light up his face as he tried to sneak closer. His father probably saw him coming, which was why Imarika hesitated – and rethought his plan of tackling his father. Instead, he pounced next to the larger male, grinning.

“Can I help, Dad?” He asked, not pausing to see what the male might be doing in the sun, whether he was actually keeping watch or just dozing off himself. Either way, Imarika was eager to do something – to help his father somehow. Realising his father was lying in the sun, most likely resting rather than doing anything serious, Imarika flopped out beside him, beaming up at his dad – as if, if he smiled enough, his father would realise he was the one that should be trained, and not his brother. Even as he heard his siblings stirring in the den, he continued to beam up at his father, cheeks aching but eager to prove his worth.

Any Plot ideas for the future? Imarika will always be trying to one up his brother, not out of malicious feelings towards him, but simply because he's first born, and he should be given the task of killing the bad man, not his brother! This would go on until they were adolescent, until shortly after their father dies.

Imarika would want to pull away from his family after Nazar's death, feeling out place now that his father was no longer around, though it would be unsuccessful, as all he knows is his family, and he would always subconsciously seek them out. He'd play it off as accidental, but he'd make sure to check in on his sisters and his brother, and especially his mother, just...y'know, to see how things are going. He'd calm down a lot as well, and would become a little self-conscious and more questioning, rather than quick to trust.

I think he'd want to make up with his brother, and try to repay him for trying to one-up him all their lives – as it turns out that what he was trying to be better at wasn't' really worth the effort. He'll be a skillful fighter due to his training, but reluctant to use that skill. He'd probably try to stalk his brother for a while, doing odd jobs for him whether he wanted him there or not.
