This is my daily thread.

I am an art student and freelance illustrator. I've gone to school for Game Art and Design as well as Illustration with an emphasis on Drawing. Sadly I haven't been able to continue with my studies and had to stop classes for now.

I'm on FA and DA as RedDyeNo5
and ConceptArt as Atomicpiggy (I don't update there much )

I'll go ahead a post some of my recent stuff just to give the thread a little substance.

It was a change in style that I've been working with. It really forces me to try and work better with color. It's my biggest weakness gonk

Also, how long do you take on average to finish pieces?

Dx waugh I don't time myself enough... uh, ....

Concept and reference takes the longest by far....

The red and gold avatar took 4 - 5 hours? I spent a good chunk of that time looking up ref and doodling thumbs and ideas. About the same amount of time with the horned guy Aegis.

I'm going to say the cats took a couple of hours.

The gentleman fish took like, 20 minutes from concept to finish.

The kappa doodle took like 10 minutes.

I think those are fair estimates. I'd be able to pump stuff out faster, but my laptop fights with my tablet @__@. If I draw "too fast" it goes nuts and starts putting straight lines everywhere. It's definitely has taught me patience, but sometimes I need to doodle fast and messy to get ideas out.
