"Such words do much to ease my worries" She responded, though she had always held faith with the guards and their abilities to keep the pride safe. None the less it was good to hear such things stated by a member of said guard..and certainly polite for her to express confidence in his abilities and surely a lion with so much noble coloring could uphold his word.
"Many thanks" She told him with a humble nod of her head before she turned abou to take her leave, padding off a few steps before stopping to look back at him "Take care of yourself Guard Laertes" She bade him before trotting back the way she had come, Kivuli was probably about ready for a break from the cubs about now she figured and she had lingered long enough on this little scouting mission of hers.

Laertes watched in silence as the noble left, a small smile still lingering on his expression. After all, she was above him as far as ranks went so it was only proper to allow the lady to take her leave first before going on his way. Even if there seemed to be an unspoken rule that stated males were more respected than females, that was one custom Laertes couldn’t bring himself to accept. His mother had raised him differently. And Maua had been so nice, he couldn’t react any other way. He watched the lioness for a few seconds, taking note of the path she was choosing and then finally started walking back to his den. - FIN! - (sorry for the slowness of the last few posts, I was super busy for the last few days ;] )
