Aneesia was unhappy. She thought her stay in these unknown and overbearing lands would be a short one. She would get a little TLC and than take off before any emotional attachments were made. Little did Aneesia know that when she went home with the purple male who at the time seemed rather nice, thats he would never be leaving. The pride he took her to, a pride of Demons, was plagued with frightening people and perversions she only remembers mentioned when she could still hear. She found out the hard way that, unlike everyone else in the pride, she had no rights. She had been brought in as a slave without her own knowledge.
At first she had fought Phle, trying to leave multiple times. He would keep her there by force and fear without actually touching her himself. His Niece, a demon by the name of Gentha, was always watching her. Ready to torment her if she tried to leave. Phle would intervene if Gentha was getting out of hand, but he wouldn't directly stop her in the first place. It was almost as if he was saying 'I won't keep you here, but they will'. It hadn't took long before Aneesia lost faith in ever leaving and settled into this odd role. She was a slave, but she did nothing slaves did. She was actually quite useless as a slave and most of her time was spent in hiding.
Recently Aneesia was thrown a curveball when Phle came back to the den one evening, and in tow were several little cubs. He told her these are his children, their mother live in the pride and she will be caring for them when their mother didn't want to. Aneesia didn't want to care for another woman's children, even if they were Phle's and she was being very resistant to it.

Odysseus loved playing with his father's slave, Aneesia. She was surprisingly tolerant of him and his siblings antics, whether it was climbing all over her, or even using her as a chew toy. Whatever the case, Aneesia's patience and tolerance towards them made it very interesting to play with her and he never found himself bored.
The little black and red demon was not what you would call the brightest star in the sky. He did increasingly stupid things that would make others wonder if he had half a brain, and was very slow on the up-take or response. He was a powerhouse though, and had a penchant for using those little claws of his to win fights even as a cub. He was built like an elephant.
"Na'artue! Na'artue!" Odysseus called, trying to get Aneesia's attention, but once again forgetting that Aneesia could not hear him.

Aneesia began to groom herself, unaware of the child's calls. Even if she had heard him, she probably would have ignored the little one for awhile. Despite being a slave in this pride to Odysseus's father, she was beginning to develop odd feelings for him. Maybe it was because she saw a difference in him from everyone else, or maybe she was just suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. Either way, when Phle left she worried and wondered where he was.
If it hadn't been for the fact that Aneesia had turned her head, she probably wouldn't have even noticed the little black and red bother. When she saw him, her ears pinned to the back of her head and she sighed before she allowed them to return to normal. He was either going to want to play, want to question her so he could hear the funny way she spoke, or he just wanted to beat on her some.
The saddest part was that she allowed the cubs to bite and hit her. She couldn't bring herself to bite and hit them back. She felt like when she did so that Phle would snap on her and beat her as badly as when she lost her hearing. Anything to keep her from being hit from those who could do real damage to her.

Odysseus continued to call her until she turned her head and caught sight of him. He thought his persistence had paid off, but little did he know it was a fluke. He smiled to Aneesia, though his smiles were always a challenge to figure out. He could be smiling because he was happy, or he had done something bad, or just to be a really creepy little kid.
Right now Odysseus was smiling because he wanted to play and annoying the Na'artue. He plopped his pudgy little form up to her and prodded her with a paw while staring quietly before speaking, "Play. Let's play."
He continued to paw at Aneesia. He was determined to get what he wanted right now from her. Usually he had to battle for attention with his siblings, but right now he was alone. It was his time.

"No," Aneesia replied flatly. She did not want to move from her spot, and if it meant making Phle's son into a pissy little p***k, than so be it. She may have the title of slave, but she sure as hell refused to be treated like one, especially by a little squirt like Odysseus. Besides, she was already feeling tired by his mere presence.
"Go away," She said, starring at him with a hard look, "Go play Quiet Game."
Sometimes when she was feeling particularly annoyed with Phle's children she'd make them play the quiet game. It was a game where she made a child sit in a corner of the den with their faces towards the wall. They were forbidden to move or speak, and the one who could last that way the longest got a special treat. The best part about the quiet game is the fact they would actually try to compete with each other, break down and than fight amongst themselves, leaving Aneesia is a blissful peace.
Children were kind of stupid sometimes.

Odyseeus gave Aneesia a face. It was hilarious to look at, but for him it was the most serious face he could possibly muster. His little features squishing together and his maw becoming nothing but an ever present pout. He was not about to be denied what he wanted. He was Phle's son and this was Phle's slave and she should do what he says just like she does what his Daddy says. What did his Daddy tell her to do, anyway?
"No! I don't like quiet game," Odysseus said, puffing up his chest considerably, threatening tears in his eyes. If he did not get his way he would cry, unfortunately for him he didn't know that it didn't matter. Whether he cried, screamed or whined relentlessly Aneesia still couldn't hear him.
He shoved his little paws into her leg, continuing his protests. He would get her to play with him the way he wanted to be played with. It was his right as his father's son, right?

Aneesia scowled at the little black and red cubs persistence. She disliked when they touched her. She was never sure if they were going to just push on her or if they were going to bite her. Children were far too full of surprises for her comfort and she honestly wanted to drop the little beast off into a reasonably sized hole where he couldn't get out. Than she would be able to be left alone, the way she wanted it. She could probably dig a pit, but Phle would be exceptionally mad about that. Or at least she thought so.
"Go away!" Aneesia hissed, shoving a paw to the little one's head and pushing him off of her. She would not be dealt with like this, and he needed to learn that just because she was considered a slave in this pride didn't mean she was going to act like one.

Odysseus didn't appreciate a giant paw coming towards his face to push him away. He didn't appreciate it so much that he went and pulled his head away from her paw, only to sink his little needle sharp teeth into it like some sort of vampire. He wasn't going to allow her to touch him without there being consequences.
"PLAY." He hissed through his teeth, clamping down harder on the digits in her paw. He wanted play and he wanted it now.

Aneesia was not pleased by the retaliation she just encountered by Odysseus and hissed loudly when he bit down on her paw. Reflexively she flicked her paw, sending the little p***k of a child flying several feet across the den, hitting the ground with an unpleasant sounding thud. When she realized what she had done, Aneesia went into panic mode and go up to see if the cub was ok. She did not want to be responsible for the death of a child.
She rushed over and nudge the cub hard,"You ok? YOU OK?"

Odysseus felt like the wind was knocked out of him and for a moment he wasn't sure whether or not he could breathe anymore. The force in which Aneesia flung him off her paw was not very much in reality, but he was a cub so any amount of force could be potentially damaging to him.
He was able to breathe without complication by the time Aneesia came running over to see if he was ok. He felt her nudges, but sat there for a little while in stillness. He was still in some pain and was holding back little cub tears in his eyes. He would never let the stupid slave see him cry.
As soon as he was able to muster the strength he hissed at her, and stumbled onto his feet. He was going to go tell his father, and bolted out of the den.
