This wild dog is a ranger of the J'K pack. He was born there, he was raised there, and he believes in what the pack does and the traditions that they hold. The strength of the mountain flows through his veins, and it is this strength that he uses to serve his pack.
But who is he? What was his life like? How did he survive the landslide that killed so many? And what does he think his life will be like from that day forward? This is up to you to decide!
Prompt 1: Since the landslide, the ranger Aheero, a dog you grew up with just as you grew with all the others of your pack, has been searching for new blood to join and help. Even the Queen seems to have allowed this, though it seems to you she is reluctant, and one of the noblest dames Kurroa has strong opinions against this influx of strangers to the pack. In fact, it seems everyone has some sort of opinion! So what do you think of this? Do you agree that newcomers are necessary to help rebuild? Or would you prefer to rely upon the strength of those who belong to the mountains and their traditions?
Prompt 2: Life sure has changed since the landslide. As an old-blooded member of the pack, you seem to have greater standing than the newcomers, even though you are but a ranger, and a male ranger besides. Do you feel that you are 'better' than newcomers, who are given the same rank as you? Or are you glad for their help and pleased to aid them in learning the ways of the mountains? Do you think you deserve to be given a different, more noble, rank than these who were never born close to the sky? After all, where were
they when your lives were threatened and your strength tested?
Prompt 3: You have always worshiped and respected the sky and mountain, and the spirits that dwell within. But now some mutter that the spirits have abandoned or, worse yet, turned upon the pack. Why else would they have let the landslide destroy the dens like that? Why else would the pack be suffering so, have lost so much? Even the Queen has died, and all her daughters save one, the youngest, who is now left to try to pick up the bits as the leader of a broken pack. How do you feel about the spirits? Is this another trial to overcome, or have you been truly forsaken at last? Or have you always had doubts that you never dared to voice?
