Vevilla wasn't exactly sure if it was a family thing or a Nchi thing itself, however almost every baby that she had ever seen born into this family basically came out drumming. Vevi was a little scared when she first found out that she was pregnant she was terrified, her mother wasn't around because, well no one knew where she was. The father of the cubs was gone. She had her father but, it was just odd. She knew she had others in the pride but it was still a scary thing to her. On the other hand though she knew that she could handle it. And she was handling it well so far! All of her cubs were still alive and that was a good thing, however it wasn't only that but it is also the fact that they all came out wanting to learn music as soon as they got the idea of that and for Vevi that was exciting. she was proud of them already. She was very proud of them, that made her so happy.
Vevi was awake, it was a little early and she found it nice sitting to the front of the den. She loved morning like this. They were nice and calm and 'quiet'. Everything made a sound and to Vevi being able to sit around and listened to the sounds of the morning, chirping birds. It was even as if the sun made it's own sounds. But this morning that wasn't the only sound that she could hear. The sound of small feet, and a stick. She turned at the voice and smiled. It was her daughter, the only little girl of her litter. She had the same markings as herself and her mother. And other then the stripes like her grandfather, the nose like the lioness's father and those purple eyes. the lioness was almost a copy of herself and she found it a little touching. She honestly did, she just wanted to smoosh the lioness with love because of that. "Yes little one?" she asked curiously looking at the young cub. |

How closely the cub resembled her mother did make her far more attached to the female. Without her father around, the little one found kept herself magnetized to mother. Enjoying the company of adults in comparison to her litter mates. All three of her brothers were nice 'n all... but Malagueña liked acting like an adult. Or at least preparing to be an adult.
"Momma!" Malagueña squealed the moment she caught sight of her, dropping the stick to clumsily hop a few feet before collapsing against the lioness. Burrowing her snout into the soft fur of her mother, Malagueña inhaled the familiar scent, nestling closely to the seated female. Once the cuddlefest was over, the cub squirmed herself between her mother's legs to weave around her front legs, becoming sheltered underneath the larger female. "Momma, I wanna learn to make better music."
Malagueña sat herself right infront of her mother, craning her head back to be able to stare up at Vevi. With both lips pressed into a thin line, it was clear that the cub was 'vry srs'. The length of her tail occasionally thumping against the inside of her mom's legs. Her gleaming purple eyes locked on the red hues of her mother. Then suddenly the cub kicked up with her hind legs to sort of jump up and lick at the underside of the lioness' jaw before pouncing forward to retrieve her stick. "What do you play music with, Momma?"
