Ahh, it was just another good lazy day for Vutha... Twiddling his toes through the sands, flickering his tail against the wind... Ahh, the warmth from the ground felt sooo good for Vutha. It was just his lucky day that there was nothing to disturb this calming silence. It was as if his sister wasn't up to setting his future again with another demand or scheduled battle or apprenticeship, as if his father wasn't here to jest and poke at his laziness and suggest something better to do, as if his mother hadn't saddled him with those two cubs... Wait.
Something sparked in Vutha's mind through his wonderings, but his head neither perked nor ears twitched. Though he was born one of many, he was used to remaining composed and stony in spite of the frenetic energy that always occurred. After all, it was staying cool and in control that helped deal with any situation when there were multiple things happening around him. It was better now, that most of his siblings were gone. By the time they all grew up, he thought he could finally have some peace. And he got it! Except, his dear mother did enjoy putting things on his plate after that, now that Moto'Seide had Corporal duties. Vutha wasn't very fond of cubsitting, but his mother insisted that he did by appointing him with those little creatures very often.
He snorted, mind wandering away from the two charges once more. It was just so hard for Vutha to concentrate on things he didn't really care about (not that he really cared about anything)! but the itching of a nearby presence made him snap back to reality (somewhat), and he looked at the source. Lo and behold, his mother and Moto'Seide were coming home! Wait, were the cubs supposed to be here when they came back..?
Vutha quickly rose to his paws, pretending that he actually hadn't been napping the entire time. He tried to think - who did the cubs he was watching over belong to, even? Did mother bring over No's cubs..? Wait, no, they had grown a long time ago, and he realized he would never have been trusted with royalty's cubs. Or was it...
"Vutha!"
He heard them as they closed in on his space. He nodded in acknowledgment, hoping he would have a little more time to think...
"Vutha, I see you've been doing great at watching over the little ones," he heard as he also saw a small cub scamper over to his mother from the corner of his eyes.
Oh, so there was one with him here all along. He breathed a sigh of almost-relief; maybe the other one was nearby, too.
"Little ones?" Moto'Seide asked harshly, raising a brow, "Where is the other one?"
Vutha winced, trying to look behind him without giving away his confusion, and muttered something incoherent. Then, he had an idea.
"Ah, well, see, we are playing hide and seek. This one here," he motioned to the cub at his mother's paws, "I just found, and is going to help me look for where the other hid. Come now, you little one; you two can't disturb, otherwise it would break the rules!"
And so, Vutha led the cub away from his mother, who just stood there with Moto'Seide eyes full of half skepticism, half belief.
"Now, little one... Let's play run away from the angry mom and sister, and find yours."
And the two made off in unison, and perhaps Vutha realized he could find something in common with the cubs now - running away from the wrath of responsibilities.

The winner for Vutha is MoonRazor. I really enjoyed his very boyish personality, which had logical answers that didn't work out quite right. I enjoyed that he really wasn't put down by his situation at all, even if it was obviously stressful.
However, I also really liked the cleverness of DragonsRage24's entry. So, next time I have a Firekin with a litter, I will be sending a cub you direction. <3
The edited female will be going to Velveteen Angel. This was a really tough choice, but I felt that in the end, you had a really good plan set out for here. Plus, I will admit I really like the idea of getting to RP with her.
I also really enjoyed [Eskimo]'s entry (mostly because the familiar is awesomesauce), and think she should come to be. If you want to send me a few minor edit ideas and a song/theme, I will work something up. It may end up being very CC but a little inspiration doesn't hurt. Also, you can pick which lines you'd like.
I am going to keep Bidii for now, as I did not see an entry for him that I felt matched his personality.
