[EVENT] Frog-Catching - Adol/Adult Division - OVER

[Neon Fly]

Uuuuggghhhhh!! Expressing her frustration in a drawn out groan of dismay the pale lioness tried to shake away the dizzying sensation that stuck with her for longer than she would have liked. Her forehead was throbbing from the sharp crack to the skull, but luckily nothing seemed to be too badly bruised.

Well.. nothing but Mwezi's pride.

Luckily the fat croaker hadn't leapt too far thanks to the weight it was carrying. Twisting on her forehand Mwezi attempted to clap her paw over the creature. Claws extended and toes stretched to create a wider net with which to pin it with.

At this particular moment in time it could be decided with some sense of certainty that the Gods were not on this Swampie's side.

Slapping a puddle of mud the sticky, gritty substance spat back in the youth's face, blinding her temporarily and allowing her target to escape quickly from her vision.

Helianthus dove at the frog, her paws stretched out, mucky as heck. She was loving chasing the frogs around. This one she was sure she might catch it was so close to her. Her eyes fixed on the frog, a little green target, primed for her claws.

Diving manically at the frog, she found it wedged between her paws covered in dirt. She giggles watching the others dive around her presenting the frog to the air before making short work of it. She was really enjoying hunting frogs!

That's it. I quit! I quit. I quit. I quit!! Rubbing the mud from her face on the inside of her forearm--only after shaking off what loose gobs could be removed with a quick shake, Mwezi had finally had enough.

Forget this game. Forget frogs! She'd had enough of these.. these.. PESTS to last a life time!!

From now on the albino mud rat would keep to crocodiles. At least she was familiar with those and knew what to expect of them. To Mwezi the giant river reptiles that made most animals--predator and prey alike--wary were a creature that was comfortably familiar to her.

And with that thought in mind, the lioness stalked off to soak in the river and brood in solitude.

Filled with the joy of capturing another frog, Helianthus leaps after the newly hopping froggy a smile on ehr maw and hope in her heart that she would catch another of the little croaking critters.
