There really isn't.

-video camera is moving all over the damn place to even tell whats really going on

- theres likely more to the story than the limited footage they provided.

not saying it was or wasnt handled right, im saying that you, I, or anyone else except who was directly involved really knows whats going on and the worst part is that we cant accept either party's word as truth.
and in the midst of all that confusion and s**t hitting the fan of course theres going to be some anger, misinterpretations, bias and lies by just about everyone.

I will say one thing, and its that everyone is so quick to blame police for misconduct yet they never question the actions of the ones they arrest.
just because someone says they "arent doing anything" doesnt mean its true. everyone who is shocked to find themselves arrested says that.

and when s**t does happen like this, the s**t stirrer portion of the media swoops in and attacks without knowing all the facts....the fact that they WOULD use a video as vague as this one doesnt surprise me

I like how the anchorman says "they were doing nothing" because the woman said "we were doing nothing". Just because a civilian claims they are doing nothing doesn't mean they really are doing nothing. Just look at PETA. They support terrorism such as fire bombing research labs. They consider it "nothing" and even compare it to the peaceful protests of Martin Luther King for civil rights.

Like Recon said the cameras don't document what happened very clearly. It appears the police are attacking civilians that are not provoking them but as many comedy movies have pointed out what you see on camera can be taken out of context.

Police brutality is often viewed as a horrid thing, but some people really just deserve to get their asses kicked. I'm not saying these people definitely did, but there's a good chance some of them had it coming.

No, these protesters on the whole did absolutely nothing wrong. Dozens of them were beaten and arrested for using video cameras, one of whom was a PBS reporter. PBS. The network that airs Sesame Street and Barney. He was beaten, and his camera was smashed. And they say "at least one" use of pepper spray. No, at least two. Both by the same guy, both identical. He walks up to a crowd penned behind barriers, sweeps the whole crowd with pepper spray, and then walks off. He also hit two cops who were holding the barriers. That dude is a psychopath, and someone caught a good enough picture of him for Anonymous to read his badge and ruin his s**t. But I guess it's all latent rage at his parents naming him Tony Bologna.

Really, by and large, these protesters are just people with signs getting the s**t beaten out of them for yelling loudly and filming police.

Yep. Objectifying women is perfectly fine but having a pet kitten is wrong.

To tell the truth, when I looked back at it, I should've found a slightly better clip, one that wasn't a biased towards one side or another. My point I was trying to illustrate was that the whole thing was a shitfest. Both sides made their mistakes, and in the end of the day, many were suffering for no reason at all.

On the police side, you have the obvious. Brutality running rampant. Their mistake was that they treated a simple protest, which by itself is in no way illegal, like it was a full-on riot. I mean, look at that clip of the camera man. They slammed his face into the front of a parked car! Now, while a crazy rioter who is throwing rocks and causing property damage may deserve this kind of beating, a camera man who was just doing his job certainly doesn't. They at least should've tried to calm the crowd before even trying to make any arrests. Of course, overzealous policemen isn't exactly new to the streets of New York...

On the protestors side, their only real mistake is that they panicked. When they saw the police men dragging people away kicking and screaming, they started thinking, holy s**t, they might try to come after me, and, as a result, created an uproar. The cops saw this as a sign that things were about to become violent, and redoubled their force. However, I can't say I blame the protesters for panicking. I probably would've done the same thing.

At the end of it all, the Douchebag Award goes to the cops. Their actions were completely unnecessary, and while there were one or two in the protesters' lot that were unruly enough to deserve an a** beating, there is no excuse for attacking innocent civilians who are exercising their right to protest. And then you have that ******** idiot Tony Bologna. (what the hell kind of name is that?) I honestly have no idea how he was allowed to join the police force.

That's nice...Just what the internet needs...An enactment of how bears mate only with fat hippie women and pencil thin hippie guys, both of which compete with ZZ Top for the hairiest person alive award...

Then comes the idiotic media swarm that sheds more light on PETA, which is what this was intended to do as planned, then ditzy dipshit Pamela Anderson appears on every talkshow coast to coast again, then we poke and feed the attention whore that is PETA for a good few months in a blind and ultimately delusional belief that it effects the outcome of something past our computer screens and anonymity until some other attention whore makes the headlines and grabs our attention to where we dumbly fall back in our delusional cycle again.

Or we can kick back, relax, and possibly enjoy some laughs from the chaotic flaming and roasting of a clearly misguided and hopelessly fanatical group of people from the dearest beloved people that offer such wit in the flaming of said group without wasting minutes of your already short lifespan aimlessly feeding a fire that will be burning hot enough in due time.

Ladies & Gentlemen, what shall it be?
