Sealed Appearance-
Worn on the left side of Axel's waist. It's 2'3" long, mostly white with gold on the hilt and parts of the sheath.
Spirit's Description-
Hikari is taller than Axel, at 6'1", and carries a spear that she can disperse and summon at will. With her wings, she can fly and levitate but prefers the latter over walking.
Shikai Release Phrase-Not Obtained Light the way, Hikari no Tenshi
Shikai Description-
Axel's shikai is the weapon that Hikari carries around and is a light based zanpakuto. It mostly focuses on defense and hardly has any offensive attacks due to Axel's nature.
Abilities-
~Saisho no Dengen: Shīrudo (First Power: Shield)- Expelled from the spear, a sturdy sphere of light surrounds Axel. Its durability is high but lower than Bakudo #81: Danku.
~Dai ni Dengen: Iyasu (Second Power: Heal)- The spear surrounds the target it's aimed at in a veil of light and heals injuries.
~Tsugi no Dengen: Kōsoku (Next Power: Restraint)- Axel fires a beam of light from the spear at the opponent. The light weighs down on its target to prevent them from moving. Worsens through repetetive blast.
Bankai Release Phase-Not Obtained Bankai... Hikari no Shugo Tenshi (Guardian Angel of Light)
Bankai Description-
Axel's Bankai grants him wings made from energy in the form of Hikari's. The spear he wield in Shikai doubles with the spearheads now made from energy aswell as the bottom point. When not in his hands, they can be resummoned to his person. His left arm and legs become covered in white armor, similar to the ones on Hikari's arms. His right arm turns gold, enhancing the kido he cast from it.
Abilities-
~Kami no Hashira (Divine Pillars)- Axel fires a beam from the tip of his spear that creates 10' diameter circle. Circle transforms into a pillar of light that can be controlled to move in any direction. Can create two at a time. {Last 3 post}
~Hikari no Kage (Shadow of Light)- With a non blinding flash of light, a shadow image of Axel is created. {Last 3 post}
~Kaizen no Dengen: Shīrudo (Improved Power: Shield)- Expelled from the spear, an extremely durable sphere of light surrounds Axel. It's durability is slightly stronger than Bakudo #81: Danku.

History
Human World- Axel was a fighter at heart; constantly getting in fist fights with local thugs in his hometown. It was amazing how he triumphed over five on one. Not all of his brawls were pointless as they were usually to help someone being tormented. Trying to get back at Axel, a few thugs captured a little girl and took her to an abandoned warehouse. It was only a trap for their leader to confront his biggest pest personally. Axel managed to pick off the peons before facing the head himself. This man wielded a large sword, sharp to the touch. Despite that, he managed to hold his own until the sword swinging musclehead decided to fight dirty. With the hostage nearby, he attempted to kill her before him. Axel dove forward and managed to push the girl out of the way but at the cost of his right arm. With a strong left uppercut, he knocked his pseudo-amputator out. Given the time they lived in, Axel knew he wouldn't make it and bleed to death shortly. He managed to save the girl but he couldn't help but feel as if he wasted his life in meaningless fights. As he closed his eyes, he wished he could have lived a more peaceful life.
Early Soul Society- Once Axel arrived in the Soul Society, he decided to follow through with his wish for a peaceful life. It seemed his missing arm carried over from one world to the next. It seemed more appropiate to hide it in an arm sling. Most people didn't notice except for Maria Rodriguez. She offered to replace his missing arm with a mechanical one. Figuring he had nothing to lose, he agreed to the operation. The process was painful and tiring but the outcome was more than he could ask for and then some. It was nice to have a right arm again and Maria offered free repairs anytime. Axel continued to wander around, doing simple errands for money. Every other week or so, he'd get checkups on his arm from Maria. Many months had past, Axel recently accepted a job to find medicinal plants for a doctor. While searching the plants location, he came across a Hollow. It was like nothing he'd ever seen before as it was evil in its simplest form. Although he vowed to live peaceful, he knew this thing threatened to disturb that peace. Axel fought with it but didn't stand a chance. A few shinigami appeared and dispatched of it quickly, causing Axel to admire their skill. From then on, he aspired to become a shinigami to preserve the peace of his life and the peace of others. He enrolled in the academy at the latest, his swordsmanship lacking while his kido excelled. Over the course of two years he learned to balance them over time. Axel soon graduated from the academy in the course of four years as opposed to the six.
