 Ngozi was ready. It was morning, he did not have lessons until the afternoon when it was cooler. He was going to take this chance and go on an adventure. No one could stop him, not his siblings and not any adults. He was going to have some fun! His attention went to some old temple ruins in the distance. He glanced at them and back at the main temple. It wasn't too far away. If he went he couldn't get into too much trouble. He let out a wicked laughed, getting into trouble was half the fun though!
He would have to find someone to go with him though. As much as he enjoyed adventures, he always preferred to go with someone. Adventures were even better if you shared them with someone. He glanced around to see if he could see anyone who would fit for his adventure.
He started to head to one of the oasis. Surely he would be able to find someone interesting there. If not perhaps he would go on his little adventure alone, even though it would be less fun that way. He imagined that there was buried treasure hidden in the ruins somewhere. To be able to share it with new friend would be amazing. All he had to do was find someone first.

 Zana hummed as she pranced along the pathway, dancing to music only she could hear. Her boys were growing up to be fine, strong young men even if she didn't understand some of their fierce need to be independent. She always had Kimya to love on though!
Her smile brightened even more as she thought about her mate, a sing literally bursting from her lips as she spun around in a dance. Life was so amazing!

As Ngozi looked around for a play mate the only one who really caught his interest was an adult female. He would have to decide if he should go up to her. She seemed nice enough, he thought watching her from the distance. But she was a girl and girls had cooties, he remembered as he countinued to watch her. Though he thought about how boring it would be going to the ruins by himself. It would be totally dull.
Than he remembered. His mother didn't have cooties, so why would this adult have cooties? When lioness became an adult they lost their cooties right? He decided the best way to find out was the ask. If she had no cooties he would invite her along. Heck even if she did have cooties he would probably ask her to join him.
He walked over to the lioness with a grin. "Um, Madame, I was wondering do you have cooties?" he said with a completely straight face, looking up at her. "Sorry if that's rude, I don't mean to be rude. It just happens sometimes."

Zana blinked lavender eyes as the strange little male cub then giggled as she shook her head. "Nope I am completely cootie free. See when girls become momma's they no longer carry cooties and I have five little boys." Her smile was warm and friendly, with no hint of teasing.
From as many brothers, and now son as she had she knew cooties were serious business and not to be taken lightly.

Ngozi grinned at her. "Thank goodness! Now I can take you on my adventure. Would you like to go on an adventure I mean?" He laughed uncontrollably. "If I had an adult come with me I can't get in trouble can I? I mean no one could get mad if I had an awesome adult around with me. Though I can take care of myself, don't get me wrong. I just don't want to get yelled again any time soon."
He couldn't wait until he an adult. He could take his own cubs out on adventures like this. They would all love to go out on adventures. Of course he would keep them protected. Ngozi didn't worry too much about it, knowing that it was going to be a long, long time until he had cubs. He would have to wait for females to get rid of their cooties first.

"Of course I would like to go on an adventure!" She beamed down at the little male. "It has been a long time, since before I was a momma since I went on an adventure!" She hummed happily as she pranced, tail wiggling with her exictement. It was turning out to be such a wonderful day!
"What is your name little one? I can't just call you 'that boy'." She wrinkled her nose up then teasing, laughter making her eyes seem to sparkle.
