Tuli shrunk down as Tabi pinned him under her paw. There was no doubt in his mind that she would kill them if she had a mind to...Tam had always said not to speak with strangers, and he wished they'd been able to heed his warning. They simply hadn't known. The tears welled up in his eyes, and he shifted just barely at the feel of Tabia's claws sifting into his fur. It wasn't fair. Her threat made him want to cry, but he bit the tears back, wanting to be strong for his brothers.
"I understand too..." he murmured, and then gasped softly at Piato's defiant tongue. It was as if he were just asking to be killed. His heart thudded in his chest...he often wished his brother would think before speaking, instead of blurting such foolhardy words. He didn't want to see Piato thrown to his death!

Why in all that was good and dear did Noir have to bring back this set of cubs? They were breathing, walking, nightmares. Yes it was good they had backbone, they could be broken and remolded, but she had her paws full of Noir's own daughters who were driving her a fair bit insane already.
Now she would have to take the lame one to the healer's and these other two to her den and make the twins watch them. Not that she didn't think her baby boys couldn't do it, not did she think they wouldn't, it was just the brawl or caterwauling she didn't want to have to deal with that made her dread the whole thing.
When the hurt cub touched her nose, she sighed again inwardly, they probably would have been very sweet little things, but there would be no room for that now. " Wise choice," was all she said as she picked the wounded cub up by the scruff, eying the other two, her look telling them that if they so much as stepped out of line their brother's life was over.

Ri-khin knew he had to be strong for his brothers, especially for gentle Tuli. So he kept his mouth shut on anything that he wanted to scream at the purple witch who held them captive. Tam would come, all they had to do was wait, wait and survive.
He looked at each one of his siblings, at each one of his brothers and knew every action took know would effect them all. They were now no longer individuals, they were looking out for each other and wars, and purple witches, and how they got there all went out the window. All there was were he, Tuli, and Piato.
So when she let her claws off of him, he stood and helped Piato to his paws, licking his ear in comfort. They were his brothers, and he'd see them through all of this. "Come on Tuli, we need to rest and eat..okay?"

Piato allowed himself to be picked up without a fuss and watched his brothers. This female was going to be an interesting creature to share space with. He could not wait until Tam Linn came for them and ended this miserable situation for them. Although if all went well, perhaps either he or Ri-khin would find a way to do that first. He could not dream of how at such a young age, but he would think of it much over the time to come.
Piato hung there in the cheetah's mouth and looked like he was quite uninterested in what was going on around him. He didn't even look at Tuli or Ri while they went toward their not so bright future with this evil witch. He was frankly terrified of what was to come. He was hurt, hungry, tired, and generally just scared of what else might be go come. He didn't want to admit it though.

"Yeah, m'coming." Tuli said in a meek voice as he pushed himself up to his paws again, keeping close to Ri, watching dolefully as Tabia lifted Piato up, his ears drooped low. He hoped, prayed that his brother wouldn't be killed for his injury. He followed after the purple female and his brother, his tail switching in that tell-tale sign of feline agitation. His little brain was still ticking away at thoughts of escape. Surely there was some way out. Some way they could get through the lands that surrounded this strange horrible place.
He couldn't tell for sure. What he did know was that the thought of their mother and Tam made him sick to his stomach. They were probably horridly worried. Probably looking. His eyes stung to think about it. He missed them already.
