"Come in, come in, dear seeker...won't you let me read your cards...?"Nestled in the heart of a forest sits a white building, round at its heart but with one rectangular extension in each of the cardinal directions. A golden domed roof glitters in the sun that filters thorguh the trees. The doors are open, always open, welcoming those who seek knowledge of their fate or wish to learn the more magical arts of seeing the future. This is the Temple of Prophecy.

IC Rules: 1. First and foremost, the Goddess, her Angelique, and their children are to be given the utmost respect. Moira will forgive or even reward the occasional calling-out, but go too far (or catch her on a bad day) and you will be punished. 2. Respect those higher ranking than you. They worked hard to get there...or the Goddess likes them better. 3. No Banshee is welcome within the halls of the Temple of Prophecy. 4. No mention is to be made of Moira's role in Banshees' curse. 5. Best not to mention the Banshees at all within hearing of Moira, really. It never ends well. OOC Rules: 1. All Faekat RP rules apply. 2. Be courteous to each other out of character.

The Atrium/Moira's Throne Room: A glittering white marble hall, with a golden domed ceiling and circled by columns. At the base of the dome, symbols of prophecy and divination whirl ever-changing-sometimes the numbers 0 - XXI (the Major Arcana of the Tarot), sometimes the symbols of the minor arcana, sometimes crystal balls, or mirrors, or scrying dishes, or bones for rolling. The cieling often responds to those who come for an audience--stormclouds may gather for those with a terrible fate, while magical sunshine and birdsong may welcome those who are more fortunate. This is where Moira receives visitors of the divine and mortal sort, and where a kat can come to receive prophetic advice from Moira or her followers. The Library/Scrying Rooms: The Temple's library is well-stocked with scrolls on all subjects related to prophecy and divination, from proper crystal ball technique to the interpretation of omens to whole books of Tarot layouts. Scrying rooms are provided off the library to practice the use of crystal balls, mirrors, or any other imaginable scrying implement; these rooms are magically soundproofed to allow for full focus. There is also a room in the library entirely dedicated to the spoken-word prophecies delivered by the Goddess and those closest to her, which may be cross-referenced at any time. Dormitories: Rooms for the followers of the temple. Larger on the inside than the outside, which can be disconcerting to newcomers. There is always enough room, no matter how many live in the temple. Rooms for the Goddess's Family: Where the goddess, her mate, and their children go if they wish to be away form the daily running of the temple. Like the dormitories for followers, roomier on the inside than the outside would suggest.

Moira is exactly the sort of deity you hope you never meet. The only one who will ever get a straight answer from her is Chaos herself; her siblings, mortals, even her mate and children will only get cryptic nonsense...or just enough information that they set the dominoes falling on their own fates by trying to prevent it. Her motivation can be summed up quite simply: "it amused me." Moira is fully willing to offer prophecies to visitors to her temple, or if they would prefer, perform divination using any number of methods. As a Goddess, though, she has one special talent that is hers and hers alone: if a worshipper or seeker invites it, she can look directly into a kat's soul and produce a single card that represents that kat's fate. It is completely unique, no two are ever the same, as no two kats ever have the same destiny. How much interpretation she provides is up to her. However, she is limited in that she can only see the fates of those who follow her or who ask her to read for them.

Moira's Children:
Zechariah Mated to: Farajmere Moira's son by her previous mate, still in his mother's favor. (Though it's generally best not to speak of his father.) An expert in prophecies of doom, and will gladly tell you, in detail, all about your upcoming terrible fate.

Seekers: Those who first come to the temple seeking to learn to unravel the mysteries of the future. Each Seeker will be assigned a mentor from among the Seers or be taken on by the Oracle; especially promising ones may be taken on as apprentices by the goddess herself or a member of her family. Awakened: These Fae have taken the first steps towards learning to see into the future. The Awakened are still required to study with their Seer mentors, but are now expected to help the Blinded as well. It is at this level that an Open is expected to pick an area of foresight to specialize in. Seers: Their apprenticeship complete, Seers are among the Goddess's most favored. They have shown a true talent for peeling back the veil of the future, and are now expected to train Seekers and Awakened and are allowed to provide readings for or give prophecies to visitors to the temple. Oracle: The highest rank in the temple, there is only ever one Oracle at a time. The goddess herself chooses the Oracle from among the Seers and sets him or her up as High Priest or Priestess; he or she is as much the Goddess's left hand as her mate is her right.
