"Hgrrrrh!" Galning growled as he paced back and forth in the space he'd been allowed.
He was all keyed up to fight and now he had so much violent, restless energy running through him he really had no choice but to fight. It didn't really matter that his opponent wasn't really participating any more. Galning was twitching at the tip of his tail and his nose and his ears.
He darted forward in a feint and then decided to turn it into another full-fledged attack at the last minute. Unfortunately the decision came too late and when Galning tried to attack instead of veering away from Don, his hind paws scrabbled on the ground and his front paws dug in and he ended up sliding in an uncomfortable sprawl and landing on his tail wrong.
He didn't feel it, but his tail being hurt would put him off-balance for several days to come. It was also in the process of destroying his balance now, even though he was unaware of it.

It was probably a good thing he was keeping an eye on Galning, otherwise he may have turned his back on an opponent that continued to attack him. When the other male came in again for what Don assumed would be another attack, he readied himself to take the brunt of the blow, hoping to end it by getting Galning in close and biting down on his neck to restrain him. Of course, things didn't exactly go as planned. As Galning went sprawling to land on his tail, Don had prepared himself for a heavy blow and managed to twinge his injured paw by putting too much weight on it to take the stance that would have been required.
Quickly the reaver relieved his fore paw of the pressure, keeping it hoovered just above the ground as he tentatively took a seat on his haunches' eyes on Crazy. Another day perhaps, and this would have been an interesting fight. As it was, Don had been caught off his guard and it was throwing off his game. Nonetheless, he had gotten the fight he wanted, and he supposed that was all that mattered. "We done, yeah?" It hadn't been a bad fight... okay it was kind of horrible, but next time he'd be prepared for Galning's... antics. "You're not a bad sort I suppose. Today is a good day to die, friend, but tomorrow would probably be better." By then he hoped to overcome the pains and stings he had received, as well as his apparent shock at Galning's... well, him in general.

"Ah..." Galning was slowly beginning to come out of it. Sometimes he took longer to return to normalcy than others. This seemed to be one of the times where he didn't stay berserk for long, even though he was fairly slow about regaining a normal thought process.
"Done...Yeah. We're done I think. Sorry about jumping on you. And your paw. Did I do that?" He'd winced when he noticed Don favoring his paw slightly. People weren't supposed to end up with that kind of injury from just sparring.
Trying to salvage the situation he offered a grin and said, "Good match though. Thanks."

It was good Galning hadn't decided to attack him again, it meant Don could untense his muscles and let himself relax for a bit. At the mention of his paw he gave it a thoughtful once over, flexing the claws and the wrist. It still stung, but he rolled his large shoulders at it. "It'll be fine", he assured. He was no healer, but he had sustained injuries before, and unlike this pride thing, life as rogue generally meant he was on his own- there were no healers to turn to after you got into a nasty fight over territory, just your gut instinct. It didn't feel incredibly bad, uncomfortable at the moment, but it would pass as long as he didn't overexert it.
Still, the reaver returned Galning's grin with a toothy one of his own. "Yah, we should do it again some time. I'll see you around... er, what's your name?" Yeah, it probably wouldn't be a good idea to call him a*****e, Dimwit, or Crazy. Funny, but Don wasn't exactly looking to exchange blows again, at least not today.

"I was called Skremmende Galning by the lion I defeated, but I mostly go by Galning," he said.
Had his opponent's name ever come up? Galning had no idea. At this point he certainly didn't recall it. He didn't tend to remember things very well if they happened when he went berserk, or even around the time when he entered that state. He thought of mentioning it, but he didn't feel like admitting to it. He wasn't all that curious.
"Don't die in bed!" he called over his shoulder as he made his way toward the healers' dens.
