Brigid chuckled lightly. "Sparkle showed me.. She helped me find it." She smiled brightly. She'd met a few rather nice fae recently and one.. she'd rather never see again if she could help it. Sprawling out on her belly, she brushed her hair from her face, a small scab on her forehead near her temple was there with what looked like the res stain of blood to her white fur. "The village?" She pondered some. "Might have to ask Azrael about it..." She pondered this even more.

Tina's warm purple eyes slowly opened. With a large yawn, she sleepily looked at Brigid. "Who is this Azreal you keep mentioning? He sounds like a really nice person," she asked. Shrugging her backpack off, Tina pulled out the Daxter plushie and began to fiddle with it while she waited for the answer. {Gah, can't think of anything else to do. gonk }

Brigid flushed at the question. "Oh.. Azrael... He's very nice indeed.. Actually.. you could say.. he's my... my... my mate." She fiddled with her hair some, her tiny wings flicking lightly. "He um. Asked me yesterday.. It kinda happened rather fast.. but.. I adore him.." She looked bashfully around and back at the 'burrow'. "He must have gone to his hut to get some more things... so he's not here at the moment."

Tina's ears flicked towards Brigid as she said the word mate. Instantly she perked up. "Oh? That's so great! I have a mate too, though I haven't seen him for awhile. I should probably go back and spend some time with him," she thoughtfully trailed off. With a small shake of her head, she refocused her attention on Brigid. "So, do you want to tell me about him?" she asked smiling. Her fingers playing with the Daxter plushie in her hand stilled as she focused on Brigid.

She smiled a warm, near shy sort of smile. Her tail flicked as she eyed Tina. "It must be lonely being so far from the one you love, no?" She looked back at her 'burrow' and shook the thought from her head that had crept into it. Looking back at Tina, she nodded. "He's sweet.. Though at first meting one might easily mistake it.. I see him for who he is on the inside.. We met not too long ago actually.. He found me sitting in the large tree with the claw marks.. I'd peered down at hims and we started talking.." She chuckled lightly. "He seemed interested in what I had to say about the wee ones.." She nodded her thick accent making the words sound strange as the uttered them. "Went to the pub.. spoke to a friend of his.. then he escorted me back to the tree."
Scratching her head lightly, she let out a nervous sort of chuckle.. "Till I'd gotten to know him better.. I thought he might be tricky though.. poor lad spoke of such horrors.. said death followed him round and when his brother showed up the next day.. I feared he might have been speaking the truth.." She frowned lightly. "I sent Azrael away from me.. it was a misconception.. but it worked out.. though I nearly lost him in the process.. I guess you could say twas then that we recognized how much we both meant to one another." She absentmindedly touched the healing wound on her head. "His brother... a devil of a male... he caused some serious wounds on Azrael.. after making me hit my head on that rock.." She showed her 'battle wound' with a look of pride. She'd stood up for herself and Azrael both, and that was something to be proud of. "I pelted his horrible brother with small rocks.." She giggled lightly, it was rather funny now with it all said and done. "The look on his face was rather priceless... but it drove him off.."

Tina shook her head. "Sometimes it's lonely, but traveling is worth it. Besides, he gives me something to go back to," she explained. Falling silent, she smiled as Brigid told her about her mate. It was easy to tell from her tone alone that she adored him, and he did to her as well. All seemed innocent enough, until Brigid began to speak of death. There were a few fae that death clung closely to. Most of them were ebil. If she was speaking of one such as those, then Tina was at a loss how she could see that in one so ebil. Perhaps it was one of the unfortunates? Tina certainly hoped so.
Seeing the wound on Brigid's forehead, Tina gasped and reached for her bag. Unzipping it and riffling through it, she pulled out a small first aid kit. "Why didn't you say you were hurt earlier? Wounds need to be tended to as soon as possible. Unless you've already tended them?" Tina said questioningly. Even though Brigid was obviously proud of her wound, Tina still worried. Smiling, she shared Brigid's pride when she told of how she got it. "That was a brave thing to do. Fighting off ebil is something us ottsel's do too. Would you like me to clean up that cut and bandage it, so that it doesn't get an infection or anything?" she asked, holding out the first aid kit.

BrigidNodded some. "I think I get what you mean.. He's your anchor, the thing that is solid in your life." She smiled broadly. "Oh no.. it's fine.. looks much worse than it is really.. just a small gash.. I put herbs on it after cleaning it. I learned long ago how to keep myself alive on my own." She chuckled. Small scrapes and cuts could mean death if not properly attended to. and when you were taking care of yourself and rarely went into a village, knowing just little things of what you could eat and what plants could help you meant everything.
"Azrael's were far worse than my small gash any ways.." She frowned some. She really had been surprised though that he was taking everything in such stride. He was moving around stubbornly doing things.. Maybe he healed faster? She supposed maybe it was a possibility.. and the bandages she'd put on him seemed to be helping to keep everything together.. she just needed to change them and make sure everything didn't get worse.

Nodding and putting her first aid kit away, Tina's ear quirked back and she grew concerned about Brigid's mate. "Would you like me to take a look at him? I'm used to tending more serious injuries," she explained. "Perhaps I could make sure he's healing up alright?" she asked sincerely.

A stubborn streak set into her eye for a small moment. Allowing her pride to sooth some she shook her head lightly. "It's fine.. He's bandaged up and on the mend.. I'm fairly good at keeping his wound clean. Even if he does squirm and wiggle about a bit too much. " She gave a small smile. "Ye don't raise ye self from a wee little lamb and not learn to take care of things." She sealed it with a large nod.
"Actually.. he seems to be healing relatively fast.. It's rather amazing." She tapped her chin in thought some. "Perhaps when we've cleaned the burrow up some ye can come over.. meet him and such... Only.. hope his brother dunnae show up.. He's ebil.. How the two can share blood and be so widely different.. beyond me.."
