Depends on what you see yourself doing for the God knows how many years.

If you'd rather be subjected in an office all day while spending your hours in front of computer screens, edi Software. If you wanna get out and be concerned with buildings, bridges, roadways, dams, and even more; then take Civil Engineering. If you want to work with cars, planes, boats, factory machinery - Go Mechanical! Pero it all depends on your interest really, and besides that, you should consider comparing your strengths and weaknesses too kung san tingin mo mas capable kang mag shine, prosper and beautiful, splendid! Lololol. In terms of working naman, determination is a key to success anyway.. Work your butt off, and you'll go far. But gotta be sure na you like what you're doing, so it's pretty important na you choose the right major for you. Kasi if you're not satisfied with your job, then success probably won't be as great as imagined.

Don't take my word for it though, I'm an aspiring Medical Student. So I'm far from that. I only have uncles and friends who are/going to be Engineers that's why I know SOME info. But it's pretty much a no brainer na it all depends on you. Goodluck!

Requirement sa first year namin na itake lahat ng introductory courses sa iba't ibang branch ng engineering. So share ko lang opinions ko at bigyan kita ng ideas sa kung ano man yung mga pagdadaanan mo in each branch.
Mechanical - masaya kapag naiintindihan mo yung ginagawa mo kasi maraming kailangan tandaan, maraming variety yung types of problems so nakakalito minsan
Software (Computer ba to?)
Electrical - comp. eng. samin ay related sa electrical so probably you'll take this one as well, mostly on circuits at hands on labs, not too much to memorize pero dapat alam mo yung math mo
Civil - naenjoy ko yung statics course ko kasi madali lang sya para sakin, it deals with static equilibrium which means balancing all forces and stuff, eto recommendation ko kasi nandito din ako. XD
