The zoo is much more developed than when Avatar Aang first made it. It still lies in the farmlands just outside the inner wall of the city but the walls are more defined and well constructed. Officials wanted to rename the zoo after Aang but her refused to accept such a change, instead they built a statue of a young version of the Avatar laughing and surrounded by animals.
