The Walking Dead
The roads are vacant as newspaper and garbage roam around like tumbleweed. The street lights flicker as if they still have a purpose. Cars are like lanterns, glowing the streets around them as flames lick the night sky. The smoke of destruction bellow from the city. But there's one thing that stand out from all the damage. Where the people? There's no one in sight, they just...disappeared. The groaning of unknown creatures come from the cool, damp allyways. There eyes emotionless, blood thirsty. What do we call them? Comic book call them zombies. We call them the walking dead.
It all started in those sickening white labs. Where you hear the scared lab rats squeaking in there cages, and the clanking of tools as doctors work relentlessly to figure out the problem. In this case the problem is cancer, which at the time was one of the most feared diseases in the united states. It's the thing people walk for, the disease people wear pink for. A group of doctors decided they were going to work together to figure the cure out. Some wanted this chance for there own reasons. Money, fame, the pure want to help people...no matter what the reason was the outcome wasn't what they expected. After a day or so the government hadn't heard from them, and decided to check it out. They sent armed men too infiltrate the labs, but they didn't return eather. The president soon disappeared, and the people went into a full panick. Everyone at the lab turned into a zombie, the armed men did also. The disease was spreading. It went from the lab, to the small town, to the city, the state, the country, and soon the world. There are only a few who have survived this apocalypse. They are the survivors. Will they be able to stay alive and work together?
