"Hm... Got it. We don't need guards on this tower, it'll be best to concentrate men on the outer perimeter of the prison to make sure none try to escape using the coolers. The rest, we can put on the perimeter of the riot to try to contain it. Use basic fire shields for protection. [I'll try to reason with them or calm them down before we herd them into the prison]," Kai advised as he walked down the tower and opened the door, the guards getting in position. He smirked as he joined the fray, using his firebending as much as possible without killing or seriously burning anybody(4/5). Many of the prisoners were already down, so the strong and lucky still fought, though without purpose. With a smirk, Kai fought through them, spreading words of escape. With this, the rioters might even become more rowdy, which would be when Kai would execute step 3 of his grand plan.

"Ah~ The warden was captured. Well, y'know, that happens. Force the prisoners up by filtering the smoke up. Create some of your own smoke if you want. The guards on the island perimeter aren't needed there now. Have them come up from the west end and pressure the prisoners to the east where the gondolas are. Simply suppressing them would just concentrate the violence, not make it better. I still can't grasp the human heart as well as I'd like to," Kai complained and ordered at the same time, his eyes on the group that caprudes the warden. He'd have to take care of them himself, sadly, but it didn't make much of a difference to the original plan. When the prisoners, being pressured from behind and below towards the gondolas, arrived at the gondola tower, they would find the gondolas abandoned and ready to be taken. Unknownst to them, Kai was already hidden on top of one of the gondolas, the one whose doors weren't open. This magic trick, "forcing", was a simple unconscious suggestion to the minds of the prisoners, that they should go to the one that seems more inviting, easier, faster. Thus, they would more than likely choose to use the open gondola first, then the ones who followed would probably use the second one. If he had guessed correctly, they would take the warden on the second one because once they put the warden on the first, the rest of the prisoners will have no protection or hostage. If put on the second one, the first gondola would be protected from being cut off by the prisoners on land, then the second gondola would use the hostage as protection. This was simple common sense that only sounded like a plan when spoken. Kai, however, already rigged the first gondola to get stuck mid way via welding certain parts of the machinery, this forcing the second group to leave before the first had safely made it out. This was still all mere speculation, so he was unsure that they would wait for the first group to escape first, but as long as it went by this general lay out, his plan would most likely work.

"Ah~ How nice it is when coincidence doesn't mess up one's plans," Kai sighed, working on his final steps on top of the gondola. Since gondolas were already pretty much melded into the wire, Kai just strengthened that before using his fire bending to create a message in the air, large enough for the guards in the tower to see. This told them to "Reverse this ride", meaning to bring the gondola he was currently one, the second one. This would take a little while, but at this point he was only around half way to the middle. As he approached the center and the first gondola along with it, he would use Weld to weaken the wire of the second gondola, which would probably fall out in a minute or two. By this point, Kai estimated the technicians to be able to fix the rigged lever and start pulling the gondola back. With Kai's calculations, it would be something like this: the second gondola would fall and the centrifugal force would swing the gondola towards the prison. It wouldn't reach it yet, due to the distance, but instead be cushioned by the water. After being dropped in the boiling lake, the gondola would probably limit the amount of water let in and heat, keeping the prisoners safe from instant death. The gondola would then be pulled back up and onto the prison island where they would be captured by the guards. By this point, Kai would have already jumped onto the first gondola, where, since he didn't have enough thrust to make it all the way, simply grabbed the ceiling and crashed through the glass. Taking a deep breath as he was landing, he spewed out sparks and embers up towards the ceiling to distract the prisoners, then spun to spread it all around. On his second revolution, he would duck and spew boiling hot smoke towards the ground to burn the feet of prisoners since they didn't wear anything but small slip-one that exposed their ankles. The warden wouldn't be as hurt since he wore the standard military boots that covered his legs fully, not to say he wouldn't get some odd burns here and there. When they were distracted, Kai would charge at the warden, breaking him through the window and having them both fall out. As they fell, Kai would take the warden in one hand and the gondola in the other, using the gravitational force and redirecting it into his centrifugal force to help him swing and throw the warden onto the roof of the vehicle. With a quick step up and help from the warden when he became steady again, Kai would lift himself onto the roof as well. "Hello, fellow criminals. Good match, please try again. If any of you try to come up here, we will kick you down to live with the boiled fish carcasses... Well, not live with them, but you get my point," he warned as he sat down on the flat roof. If they were lucky, the guards would undo Kai's sabotage on the machine and bring them back to the prison. (I would like to note as an achievement that this is a iPhone post. I'm very proud. Also this post is only valid assuming this whole thing goes smoothly.)
