QUESTLINE: Planting the trees

As you walk around the reservation, you notice a few former War clan members squabbling amongst themselves. They seem to have dug several rather large, impressive holes.

"Did you bring any seeds?" The female clansmember seems extremely agitated, literally harping on the male. He in return, says nothing. "We need seeds of strong saplings, nothing else will support our huts."

She suddenly spots you. "'You there! Come here." She points the ground, where a few small seeds are buried." I need you to go to the Weeping Forest and find tree seeds exactly like these ones. We need to grow the strongest trees."

Before you can argue she points you in the direction of the Weeping Forest. Oh well, better get started

- Roll a 100-sided dice and match your dice roll to the results below. Keep on rolling until you obtain at least 2 perfect seeds. You have completed the RP once you have fulfilled this requirement.

- 1-20: The tree you manage to find and scale is weak and sickly. It does not seem like it will be suitable
- 21 - 40: You find a particularly large tree, and rather nasty too, as it swings its branches, nearly disemboweling you on the spot. You manage to snag one seed from its branches before you have to flee away from it. +1 seed
- 41 - 60: The tree seems to be very promising, but it seems to only be budding at the very very top. The branches are too dense to fly, so you take the dangerous trek of climbing up, but can only reach one seed before you fall back down. +1 seed
-61 - 80: You look around, trying to find your way... you could have sworn you took this path before. You feel a little lost....
- 81 - 100: You see a suitable tree, but before you can grab at it, a minipet runs away with your find. Maybe you should find that minipet and skin it...

OPTIONAL QUESTS

OPTIONAL QUESTS WEEK 1:

gaia_crown [ Selecting an optional quest ]: Your horseman character can select ANY of the optional quests available, follow the instructions and RP, and RP out the results. You can do this in a SOLO or PRP thread with another player! You will not get any scavenging items from it, but it could be fun and you could discover things about the current status of your clan! If you do it as an rp with another player, both of you will need to fulfill the requirement.
- Each time you finish a quest you gain +2 RP points and another +1 if you go over 800 words. This only counts the FIRST TIME you finish this quest. You also get +3 Four Clans Token per quest you take, again only the FIRST TIME per quest.

Mjoll had been minding her own business. Her wings had been neatly tucked to her sides as she walked the length of the reserve. It was only till she got to the war section that she was stopped. She'd been walking around some rather large and impressive holes, and now she was being stopped by a female member of the war clan.

Mjoll blinked slightly before chuckling a bit, the male horseman was getting chewed out it seemed. Welp, that was his bad luck. As Mjoll turned to walk off she heard something. You there! Come here. It made the death clanswoman freeze turn around and point at herself before looking around. Surely they wouldn't expect her to..... I need you to go to the weeping forest and find tree seeds exactly like these ones.

Yup. They did, Mjoll could feel her cheeks flush but instead of protest, as she'd agreed they'd have to all get along. She simply nodded and walked towards the weeping forest in search of seeds.

"Ugh, these aren't even the right shoes for this!" Mjoll muttered as she walked through the forest.

Mjoll stretched a bit as she walked looking around at the trees and the seeds they held working to find the war clan's perfect seeds. She sighed as she checked each tree at least twice, maybe three times. There was a pause as she noticed a tree not too far from her left with a seed that looked perfectly like the ones they wanted.

Her eyes lit up as she hurried towards the tree. However, before she could get there, she noticed a serpurill eying the seed she found. "Don't you DARE touch that seed." She started to threatening the minipet, as she ran over.



Of course it was too late, the serpurill had grabbed the seed. She ran after the minipet. "YOU GET BACK HERE. I WILL SKIN YOU!" She cried, it stole her seed! She summoned her sword ready to skin the minipet; however, it had disappeared the moment she stopped to summon her weapon. "OHHHHH. This is so not cool!" She lifted the him of her dress and was looking at her boots. "I got mud on my boots." The death crafter pouted a little bit before looking around, she was this far into it she might as well keep looking for seeds.

Mjoll sighed as she continued walking thinking about how long it might take to get the mud from her boots after this. However, it was for the clan so she couldn't just keep on pouting. She sighed, "Just treat it like any other job, it'll be okay."

She continued to walk pausing at one of the largest trees she'd seen yet. She hadn't gotten close enough to it yet to see how nasty it was. However, when she got too close to it she realized just how horrible it was. "AH!" She jumped back watching as it swiped at her and nearly disemboweled her, instead ripping her dress.

Mjoll stared at the tree furiously before rushing forward to grab at the seed she saw and dashing away from it. Trying to dodge the branches the tree swung at her. Tripping once, rolling on the ground a bit before scrambling to safety. "... This is apparently why I never lived in a tree." She took her time checking her outfit and her wings for damage as well and making sure her hair wasn't completely ruined. She'd have to spend time primping after this though.

"Well that's one seed down." She shoved it into a little pouch tucked into her belt, for safe keeping.

After having nearly been dismantled by a tree Mjoll was walking with a slightly sour look on her face. This hadn't been the best of days after all. The death clans woman continued to search for seeds. Pausing when she noticed another tree that seemed like it should have the seeds the war clans woman wanted.

Her wings twitched slightly as she looked up at the tree to see if she could find where the seeds might be. The higher she looked, the less she liked this. Mjoll frowned when she noticed at the very, very top of the tree there seemed to be a place for seeds.

The biggest problem however, came with the fact that there were just too many tree limbs to fly up there. "Guess I need to climb for it." She rolled up the sleeves on her jacket and started up the tree. She wasn't quite as skilled in climbing as the warriors were. In fact, this was probably one of the first time she actually had to climb a tree. There was the occasional foot slip, and moments where she was in danger of falling; but somehow, Mjoll made it to where the seeds were and managed to pluck one.

"Now... how do I get down." She shoved the seed into her pouched, pausing as she thought she saw another, better seed... and tried to reach for it. Only to slip and tumble back to the ground. "Ouch." Mjoll winced as she sat up.

With the seeds safely in her pouch and her pride successfully regained, well for the most part. Mjoll headed back towards the reserve to give the seeds to the war horsewoman.

"After these are delivered I'm so taking a bath." She muttered as she walked, occasionally stumbling over a branch, she was getting a bit tired. Not to mention the fact that everything was so muddy. It made the jewel crafter shudder a little bit hoping there wasn't anything hiding in the mud. That was the last thing she needed.

It took a while to get out of the forest, she really wasn't sure how far she'd gone until she started walking back. When she finally got to the reserve she located the war horsewoman, "Here's your seeds." She muttered, "I'm going to clean up."

Without giving the other a chance to give her another order Mjoll took off and made a bee line to get cleaned up. They better be happy with those two seeds.
