[Plot // Slots]

Serrated blades of wind sang through the trees, high and fierce shrieks in the gathering gale. The sky was bloody with fire, glowings streaks painted onto the enroaching darkness.
He frowned. The beautiful colours were marred by a sickly grey film, fog blown over from the nearby settlement. A moment later, a small shape detached itself from behind a cloud, and a faint whirring of modern machinery was barely detectable to his ears. Disgust. Loathing. Etched onto his face and deep in his eyes.
He pulled his bowstring, hearing the breeze whistle past taut wood and sinew. Aimed. Almost released it, but was momentarily reminded of how futile it was.
Of course, he was powerless against the creeping terror of the modern world. But there was one who wasn't...

From the {POV} of a clan member.

Far beyond the reaches of the modern sprawl, the rumours are stirring again. Word of an ancient clan arises, with sinister motives unbeknownst to those in the safety of their cities. But when the people start disappearing, some fear that something more than lost lives will be in store.

Biography:: Amitola was raised in a strict family of the clan and taught to always respect and support the Elders. She dislikes the arrogance and carelessness of the "city humans", longing for the olden days that the legends spoke of. When she was 6, her futile attempts to ward off an approaching "city human" resulted in a strange mist, and ended with a charred circle of grass around her. Amitola retained injuries from the first usage of her spirit powers, and has never once used her powers for anything but her clan.

Biography:: I'Satta was raised without tolerance to the city people, being only told of their disregard and insensitivity to the world around them. Growing as a child he'd often find himself wondering how people could live so wickedly, disrespecting the very earth they walked upon and that gave them everything they needed to have a comfortable, fulfilled life without cognizance. . . How they could destroy it in a matter of moments with their endless battles over fruitless desires.
With moderate respect to the elders, just short of worshiping them I'Satta took role as the Torture Expert in his later years. Seeing this as an opportunity to teach these city dwellers a fear and comprehension beyond that of just greed and vanity, he took it as a chance to get them back for every crooked judgment they made.
Views on clan motives:: wholly supportive.
Weapons:: Though not the handiest in a match, I'Satta carries a couple skinning knives and is capable of using a bow.
