Questionable Tactician

I have the exact same problem. I'll never catch up, but if I can keep the pile maintaining it's size I feel like I'm doing well. xd

I tend to favour tragic anti-heroes. For example people who are amoral or follow alien philosophies and are drawn to them from previous circumstances or events.

A great example of this type of character is Michael Moorcock's Elric of Melnibone.

Lately I've developed a thing for healers who go dark side. I find it interesting to see how far a character will go before they break and just what it takes to cause someone to cast aside their oaths.

(I have a sneaking feeling that's some kind of mental disorder.)

They're much more interesting than the generic villian who wants to take over the world.

I've never understood why they want to take over the world. Say they succeed now they have a world to rule and that is going to be a ton of work.

Psychological villians are usually smart enough to plan for all of that ahead of time. Besides, not every villian wants to take over the world.

No, but some do. blaugh

I hate it when ones does take over whatever they were aiming for and the author has them utterly destroy everything because they're inept (Lion King pops to mind). The villain was smart enough to take over, they should be able to run things (or destroy) in an equally intelligent fashion. Villainy does not equal stupidity.

Well totally I totally would like a character who is good at caring of plants, especially grapes and the one who always succeed even in the impossible situation. And that would be a typical hero/heroine.
