The 3DS XL.... is REAL

The 3DS XL, revealed last night on Nintendo Direct... Can't say I didn't see it comin' razz
Pros:
-(Slightly) longer battery life
- Bigger screen, increasing immersion

Cons:
- No 2nd Circle Pad or extra shoulder buttons, still necessitating the Circle Pad Pro(XL?) for games like RE: Revelations and MGS3D: Snake Eater(at least, for the people that can't really get a feel for those games w/o the Circle Pad Pro)
- It's more of a resize than a revision

No thanks Nintendo, but I think I'll just stick to my current 3DS model.

As much as I used to love Nintendo, its moves like this that kind of bother me. I can't say that I own a 3DS, and I can't say that I intend on owning it, but it hasn't been all that long since the 3DS launched and they're already pushing new "slightly improved" models. Who wants to bet they'll announce another new one before the end of the year?
