After a while scientists had made the world disease proof, for a price. In the time now the entire world has grow into a united republic with no need to fight or disturb each other. War is a thing of the past and a new found peace has been developed, then they made Valkerie...
A new program designed to enhance the mental activity of the brain and release humans to their full potential, a brain on average works at 5% of it's natural volume and Valkerie is made to improve it slightly. Everyone shown positive results with them being smarter and more responsive after every use. It would improve volumes slightly with a goal to reach superhuman status what they didn't count was fate. The Valkerie program got addictive and not only pushed but ravaged the brainwaves a human could hold due to this they became crazy replacing memories for mental power developing into abilities known to commons as 'magic'. This magic was physical adaptations in the brain making them move at a supersonic speed, making the world feel slower. They would break off psychological barriers making them stronger and now known as Valkeries these 'Super humans' fledged war on their makers.
The 'Makers' had other ideas, creating guardians to protect them with an enhancement on the Valkerie. This was essentially weaker then Valkerie but had no negative side effects resulting in a full mind for battle so the makers could control their pets. My name is Alfred 'Alpha' Johnson, I am the first Guardian.
