A low growl lingered in the air for a moment as a large cheetah female rested on one of the many huge rocks that were found among the pridelands. She laid out with her front paws extended out in front of her and her head held high as a half eaten carcass of what once was a young antelope laid between her front legs. Blood was spilled over the rock and some dribbled onto the female's dark fur, though it was hardly noticeable. Her blood red eyes peered out over the land. Slowly, the plague was beginning to lift and working members were beginning to become healthy once again. Just what the female needed, more hunters to get in her way. She snorted at the thought before she took one last bite of the carcass then pushed the limp body away from her and over the edge of the rock, watching as it fell against the ground. In no time, vultures would swarm around it. Those pests...
Half lidded eyes and set frown were signs of the female's boredom. Black and red tail thumped lazily against the rock as the female questioned what she would do with the rest of her day. Her hunger was satisfied and she by no means tired. Now, she needed something to entertain her... but what? She peered around slowly. The members of the pride were probably either hunting or enjoy cat naps. A grimace twisted on her face at how bored she felt. Where was that conceited male when she needed him?
