	Kumi's little pale paws waddled over to her sister, intent on comforting her a bit while they walked. She couldn't blame Mitsu, as Kumi had been really surprised on what Papa had done to them. She still wanted to believe it was just part of some really elaborate game, but with the way he was acting, Kumi was having a hard time forcing herself to believe it. Wrapped up in figuring out how to cheer up her sister, she didn't realize that Papa was gone. Long gone. Suddenly it seemed too quiet, and Kumi looked back. "Wait....where did Papa go?"

	Putting all of her effort into keeping it together and getting to mama, Mitsu didn't notice anything except the path they were following until Kumi looked back and asked where papa had gone. She stumbled to a stop and turned all the way around, squinting as she looked this way and that. "I- I dunno," she said with a frown, hesitating like he might suddenly reappear but eventually turning back to her sister, "Let's go get mama."

	Kumi looked a bit more, but he disappeared without a trace. She certainly had no idea where he went. "Good idea," she said, earnestly believing that. Maybe he went ahead to find Mama? Kumi's imagination didn't go much further than play-time, but perhaps it had something to do with the fact they had wanted to play with him! "I bet she'll be happy to see us, huh?" Kumi grinned, always happy to be with her mother, aunt, and grandma.

	Mitsu nodded when Kumi said mama would be happy to see them- she was counting on it. She was tired of being sad and confused, she was eager to get back to mama. "Come on," she said, turning back to the path they had been going along and picking up the pace so she was nearly running back towards home. Stupid papa.

	Kumi hadn't really been expecting Mitsu to just run off like that. It wasn't sudden, but for the little leopon's mind it sure was. With a little squeak, she scampered after her sister, knowing that she was going to take one loooong nap once they found her at her shrine.
