[ Rules ]

1. Follow all of SoA and Gaia's rules, obviously.
2. Everything must stay in the herd and cannot leave unless it is disbanded.
3. You can try for any and all familiars offered here, but you can only win one.
4. If there are no suitable entries, we reserve the right to hold onto it and give it away at a later date.
5. The two female waterbucks in the count as a custom-in slot for June 2012. Do not enter for them if you have already used those slot. Keep in mind that the month was Mix & Match, so if you customed-in at all, you are ineligible to enter for either of them. We will be checking.

[ Important Characters ]

Stommerd - The patriarch of the Syntyi Puuhun. Stommerd is a stern and, like his namesake, bullheaded. He rarely backs down from a situation. He is a fighter and prefers to take care of situations that can be settled at the end of his horns. He takes his leading role seriously, as he is protecting not just himself or his mate, but a whole herd.
Njia-Mwokoti - The matriarch of the Syntyi Puuhun. She is the gentle mother to everyone within the herd and acts as the herd's diplomat in foreign affairs. Easily impressed and friendly, she tries to be more of a best friend to everyone in the herd instead of a doting mother. She is currently on a mission to re-establish a migration route for the herd.
Simi - The king of the Pridelands, which is thought to be the largest pride in Africa. He is a kind ruler who saw the herd's matriarch as an equal instead of simply prey. He has granted the herd safe passage through the Pridelands with the understanding that some of the herd's members will be picked off to ensure the pride survives as well.

Lika, the mother of the two does and one buck above.
You father was a passing rogue waterbuck.

Lika is a rather naive girl, even as an adult she never lost her childhood whimsy. As a parent she was probably an odd one, quite likely to have shown her children things that most would think dangerous, but that Lika simply see's as something nice to look at, or fun to play with. Scorpions, snakes, predators, she see's very little as truly dangerous.

Luckily they would have grown up alongside Lehtia's own child, Cynhafar, and under her ever watchful gaze. Having accompanied Lika as they searched for the herd she knows how odd a girl she is, and would be there to step in should she think Lika being a bit too lacking in her parenting skills.

You were one of the few picked by Stommerd, the patriarch of the herd, to escort Njia-Mwokoti, the matriarch, on her diplomatic mission to re-establish the migration route for the herd. You have traveled to various prides filled with predators, met and conquered challenges along the way and most of all kept your charge safe. Now you return back to the herd with a job well done. You are also a trusted friend of Stommerd and one of the best guards the herd has to offer. If you weren't, there's no way your patriarch would have entrusted his mate's life to your horns and hooves.

It has been weeks since you left the heart of the herd lands and you have just arrived in the Pridelands, home to one of the largest prides out there, if not the largest. How do you handle entering the territory of these predators especially with Njia and a few others from the herd traveling with you? One thing is certain though. Njia dispatches a avian to give word of their arrival shortly after entering the borders so keep that in mind when writing this.

Please remember that the Pridelanders respect the balance of all life and do not kill just for sport, but only for what they need. They would be curious, yes, but unlikely to outright just attack the group.

Oh no! Njia has fallen down a steep incline into a receding riverbank. She is now trapped in mud. In the distance you see crocodiles entering the water. You must act quickly to save her! What do you? Do you step up and act as a leader for your traveling band or do you fall in line and let someone else take charge just in case so you don't have to take the fall if the reptiles get to her first?

For this one, you can play Njia and NPC members of her group.

The ladies back in the herd keep asking about those scars on your shoulder. One finally gets you to tell the story about how you acquired four long scars. Oh do tell!

You are the messenger and scout for Njia-Mwokoti's traveling group. You are the only avian in this expedition so there is a lot of weight on your feathered back. You are a friend of Njia who spoke up for you when Stommerd was looking for members to join her in her travels.

Oh man. You gave the wrong message to the king of the Pridelands. You were supposed to tell him that a herd wanted to pass through their lands but for some reason he now thinks the herd wants to move through the Pridelands without casualties. You make your way back to the edge of the Prideland borders where the small group is camping for the night. How do your traveling companions take it when you tell them what happened? What did happen?

For this one, you can play Njia and NPC members of her group. Do not play Simi, the king of the Pridelands though.

Your mother, Amiculi, is one of the few hares within the herd. You are the only one from the litter to survive and you've grown up as the only young hare in the herd. Your father comes and goes, but you know him well enough. You know that his name is Iva and you know that he cares enough for you and possible your mother too to keep coming back. Your mother tries her hardest to raise you the best she can, but tending to the gardens of the the herd leaves her tired by the time she comes home to the nest.
